Great views and house!

Our group loved this house and it's location. The views from the crow's nest were great and better than anticipated. The house was big, and we enjoyed the large dining table particularly. The neighborhood has nice walkways to the beach as well. The only surprise to us was how steep the driveway was, but it didn't cause an issue for us personally.

Great home for the price!

We mostly chose this home because it was super affordable and had a lot of bedrooms. Living space was a little small but it did the trick. House was clean. Walk to the beach was a little farther than we’re used to but overall great stay! Would recommend to friends and family.

Nestled beach escape

The house was very clean. It was as described online. Took a minute to find the bathroom in one of the basement rooms--be sure to look behind the door to the room. The beach was approximately a 10 minute walk. Everything operated smoothly. We did have an error code on the dishwasher, but management was quick to respond. Parts of the house have been updated, including the kitchen. Our group was 11 adults. We do wish there was a second fridge, but we made it work. The outdoor grill was used, as was the pool. Overall, it was a great experience. Would definitely return.

Overall nice, but a few issues could be improved.

The master bedroom king bed has a problem… not with the mattress, but the support underneath. It slopes downhill. Skimpy on towels, and they need to provide bath mats to step on when you get out of shower. Also not being able to check in until 5pm and having to check out by 9am essentially cheats you out if a day.

Beach Vacation

We had an amazing stay!! The house was beautiful and the area was amazing. The house was so spacious and so cozy. We definitely will keep this house in mind if we’re ever at OBX Corolla again. The only note is that the master bedroom’s shower on the top floor had a loose handle, and then one of the bedrooms on the middle floor had a shower head that would shoot out just on powerful jet, which was hard to shower with. But overall the house was great!

Great house for a family gathering.

20 of us slept comfortably in beds, No need for sofa beds. New appliances and plenty of seating for everyone. Quiet spaces, easy access to the beach and a pool for when you are tired of sand.

Big house nice location

The house was a great size (fit all 24 or us), and a short walk to beach. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub after beach or on rainy days. It defiantly could use more plates and silverware. (did not have enough to feed 24 people). Would be nice if they had more sitting on the decks like outside table and chairs off kitchen. The bedrooms with the doubunks were a little small hard to get around when you had the trundle bed out. Overall we had a wonderful time!

Great extended family get-away

Staying at Maxximum Views was our family's first beach vacation together - six siblings, spouses & kids. The living area was roomy with separate sitting areas, large kitchen island & very large dining table. The crow's nest was a favorite of everyone with great views of both the bay and the ocean.

Best Vacation

Maxximum Views was everything promised on the site and more. We were there for a family vacay and had infants, toddlers, teens, adults and a great grandmother. Everyone had a blast. The house was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We had a minor issue, called management and they took care of it right away. Would absolutely come again!

We have 4 families that have traveled together since our girls met in PreK. They are now going into their Junior year of HS! Moms and Dads are great friends and we all travel well together along with the other children and siblings! It’s a big but great group! The house was able to accommodate all bodies with a bed!! So great for all adult couples to have their own bathroom! I would highly recommend a golf cart for beach access. It would be a tough walk, especially in the heat and with little kids and beach gear. Bikes were also helpful. Kitchen/dining area was great! Beautiful large table to host about 22-24! Great Escapes had a great communication throughout our week. For the amount of people it fits, I would also suggest more bowls and utensils. Very random but would be helpful! We had a blast and hope to return to Corolla soon! Thank you Great Eacapes!

Outer banks 9 bedroom

The property upon arrival was still dirty. Windows were filthy and had fingerprints all over and spit on a couple (all on outside). There was garbage all along side of the house opposite pool side. There were cobwebs all over tables and lamps. We encountered cockroaches so they sent an exterminator. Trash was overflowing so they sent an empty can after we called. Otherwise house was very large and sheets were newly laundered and fresh.. the kitchen was kinda stocked. Griddle doesnt work cause plug dont fit. Housekeeper said outside inst her area to clean. So we cleaned what we could of the dirty hand smears and other stuff. Called from a leak in closet and maintenance brought a blower. Room stunk whole trip. Patty was a great help. She tried to respond right away. I may stay again if given the chance and they clean it up.

This house has the potential for 5 stars. Everything in the house is old. Seems like they haven't changed or fixed anything for years. If they would upgrade some items and maybe paint etc..& clean the outside, it is a Great house. The layout of the house is great, the number of bathrooms is wonderful, the view from crows nest is amazing.

I Won't Rent from VRBO Again

Home was very nice, comfortable, and had a wonderful great room/kitchen/dining room. HOWEVER, "Pantry items are not provided. Disposable items such as trash bags, TP, PT, napkins, foil, cling wrap, Soaps and Detergents." Luckily, one family was driving in, so they brought necessities, otherwise, we'd have arrived late at night with no TP in the house. First time I've EVER seen this nonsense. Second and larger dishwasher never worked, though repairmen came out mid-week. Ice maker also needed repair. Several door locks didn't function.

Great stay!

The property was clean and ready to go when promised, and was well equipped with everything we needed. The game room was great for this older group! The crows nest was particularly popular. Lots of spaces for everyone to find their own special spot to relax. Thanks for everything!!

A week in Corolla!

Maxximum views is a great house for a large group as there are many spaces for individuals and groups to spread out in. The house also has lots of wonderful outdoor spaces such as the pool area, porches and crow's view (amazing views!). Our family thoroughly enjoyed the pool, esp for little kids. The beach was a convenient 10 min walk-the house was also located a short drive to grocery stores. I would agree w/some previous reviewers-it is probably time to get new beds. The king on the main floor was very uncomfortable.

maximum views needs improvement

The property wasn’t very clean. Old food behind beds, many bugs and a condom in the hot tub skimmer.. lots of things were broken and needed updated.. backed up sinks, toilet and old furniture.., remotes missing to all TVs. Just needs some TLC and deep cleaning
