We loved staying in this house and had an amazing week in the Outer Banks. There were a few issues upon getting there but communication was great and everything was resolved. It was the perfect amount of space for the 10 of us.

Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals(utensils, pots and pans, plate wear. Close to the beach, I loved the no carpet in the home, stayed cleaner. Quiet neighborhood, SHORELINE OBX responded quickly if there was an issue.

great vacation! a lot of stairs to main living area for young children did not use hot tub-unable to lower temp-too hot for babies/little kids and husband with high blood pressure and deck area was infested with spiders loved amenities of the community-pool, tennis & volleyball nearby which we used nearly everyday overall one of our best vacations Thank you

Perfect for large families

House was perfect for our extended family! Could spend time together and spread out for downtime! Kitchen was very well equipped and we loved the deck space and hot tub! Highly recommend for large families with kids. Short walk to the beach, pool and playground.

This house is beautiful! The high ceilings, windows and new wood floors are lovely. It is just a few minute easy walk to the beach that we did with multiple little children that was fine. The kids really enjoyed the pool and playground right across the street as well. They are really low on forks and the sheets were sandy in multiple rooms when we arrived but it wasn't a huge deal. A bigger outdoor table would be nice for crab picks. You can walk to a coffee shop and it's a short drive to shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

A Nice Vacation Spot

We had a lovely vacation and enjoyed our accommodations. I like that the area was designed specifically for families. We had plenty of space and our unit was clean and comfortable. When we arrived, one of the toilets had a broken piece which made it temporarily inoperable. It was promptly repaired. Some of the storage drawers did not stay on track, making them difficult to use, but poorly constructed furniture seems to be typical for vacation rentals. Overall, it was a pleasant week.

Fabulous Vacation.

Perfect house and location to vacation. Neighborhood is quiet and family oriented. Wifi in house is spotty at best so we ended up using cellular data during our stay. Since the house sleeps fourteen, it could benefit from a few more chairs on the decks for gatherings. Kitchen was bright, airy and well stocked. There were extra pillows and blankets, if needed. Good amount of family games but would have liked to have found some books to read too. Overall, great place!

Overall fabulous, great value

House was great, spacious and accurately listed. Short walk to awesome beach. Community pool and tennis/pickleball courts were also close and very nice. Only complaint is that the house had a millipede and spider issue on the ground floor that bothered some of the kids who were using those rooms. Not a huge deal, though. Would return!

Fun Family Vacay

My family had a great time in OBX. The house was spacious and clean. The house is well kept and matched the pictures online. The floor was a little sandy when we arrived but we also found sand is bound to get in when you’re going back and forth from the beach. The rooms are big as well as some of the bathrooms. The outside shower was great for after the beach. My family was very comfortable sleeping, hanging out and cooking. Short walk to the beach and community pool. Lots of space for the kids to play in the living area. We would come back!

PI-1 Flyway Pine Island, Corolla

House was clean and in very good location. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space for a large group. The interior of the house could use some updating, nothing was broken, just dated. Shoreline property management was very responsive to answer questions or address the minor issues we experienced. We stayed for 2 months (October and November). I would not hesitate to rent through Shoreline again in the future.

Beach vacation 2022

Very nice location, we had a great stay! They even offered early check in at 11am! Only thing we would have preferred were better instructions to run the tvs, we could only get the tv in the main living room to work! All of the others just kept saying loading! We didn’t watch tv much so I didn’t bother to reach out about it!

Perfect Location

This home was perfectly located in Pine Island. The beach access was just a short walk. The community amenities were awesome! Some updates have been made to the house and some still need to be made but overall it was a great house for the price. Could use a large cutting board and sharp knives, otherwise perfectly equipped. Would highly recommend the rentals that are offered with the rental company. The community pool areas were great, with most of the homes having pools, you had the whole area to yourself. Would 100% recommend Southern Shores and the Pine Island Community

Flyway stay week of June 8th

I would recommend this property. We enjoyed our stay the home was as described, clean, kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for meal prep, and beach and pool within walking distance. Hot tub was nice when it worked however it broke on the second day of our stay so we didn’t have use of it for the next couple days. TV’s in bedroom are very small but didn’t come to watch TV. Matresses are very firm. Pullout sofa was not comfortable. Neighborhood was nice. Felt safe.

Shoreline always does a good job. The house was very nice except for the blinds. Some pieces of the blinds that were on the windows to the decks were missing pieces and we had to put blankets up at the windows to ensure privacy. Also, some of the Venetian blinds at the window were a bit unsightly, with twisted or broken pieces.

Loved the house and the distance to beach and pool! Especially with credit for bikes, it was easy to beach access and back with little kids! Beds are very firm and we counted on the pullout couch as extra bedroom but it was very open/noisy just fyi for anyone needing extra space. Kitchen knives were dull, no extras like fun puzzles/books/games, boogie boards, beach chairs/toys. It was a great space for big families! With being one of the few houses without a private pool we did enjoy the community pool mostly to ourselves, though there was one very crabby pool attendant that liked to smoke her cigarettes, yell at the kids and close the pool early. We had a great time at Flyaway. If looking for space, beach/pool access,but not much extra this is it!

Nice House for Family

Our family (8 adults and 5 kids) had a great time at this house. Each room has it's own bathroom which is very nice. The common areas are great size with plenty of room to eat and play. The walk to the beach is very easy and close which we all loved. The house cleaners definitely missed some sand throughout the house which we swept up the first day. We did experience some bugs in the basement level as well, which I understand is hard to avoid, but definitely a consideration if you're thinking of renting. Otherwise the house felt overall clean. If you're looking for a good house with plenty of room to hang out this is a great option. It's not modern updated (pictures are accurate) but a good house. We would stay here again.

Great Family Getaway

My family and I came to spend a long needed vacation together. The house has plenty of space, and nice big bathrooms. Kitchen is well appointed. Towels and sheets provided. Not a complaint, but for some reason, I thought the house was ocean front. It is about a 5 minute walk from the house to the actual beach, but it is an easy walk. We had some household issues, but the response time was super quick and maintenance took care of the problem in a very quick manner. One very small comment would be that it would have been nice to have a broom and a dustpan to keep up with sand that would sometimes get tracked into the house. All we had to sweep in the house were vacuum cleaners. Corolla is a beautiful place to stay, and Flyway was a great place for our visit!

Enjoyed our stay!

Flyway was definitely the cleanest house we ever walked into in OBX. Kudos to the cleaners! The distance to the beach isn't bad. Just a short walk up the road, with 2 beach access to choose from. The public pool was super close and no one was ever there which was nice. We never used the hot tub, so no comment there, but it looked nice. The inside of the house is nice, new floors (easy to sweep), new tvs, new couch, new paint, decent size bedrooms with lots of private decks (the beds are firm) and extra space to spread out. The AC works really well for a rental! Normally the top floor never cools down. The only negatives were the lack/quality of the silverware (lots of forks missing and dull knives), the slow draining 1st floor tub and the Palmetto Bugs (we had a couple crawling about, 1 on my Mom's face while she slept). Overall we had an enjoyable time.
