Perfect Location

It was very nice and we really enjoyed it. I would suggest that the pool table were repaired or replaced and if they could add a ping pong table outside by the entrance. Other than that I think this is the perfect place to stay. Groceries are right behind the house and the beach is a 30 second walk. I would highly recommend this place and will hopefully be coming back.

Labor Day Weekend

Every Summer a group of my high school friends go to obx Labor Day weekend & staying here was great! Big enough for everyone to have their own rooms/space. Great pool! We wished that the outside volleyball court was playable because that would of been a big hit for us! But other than that we had a great stay! Great location!

We had a wonderful time. House was beautiful, but needed a little more housecleaning. Could not use volleyball area or back yard due to no yard maintenance. Nice little walk to the beach. Neighorhood was a nice friendly place, nice place to go and spend time with family.

Very Nice Place

House was very nice and fit me and my family (16 people) very well. There was an issue with the AC on the third floor when we arrived, which took a few days to resolve. Pool and hot tub were a huge hit with the 8 kids we were traveling with. The living room and kitchen are located on the third floor, so if your traveling with an older person that has trouble with stairs this could be an issue. Easy Walk to the beach, and shops. Easy Check in/out, host very responsive.

Fun family vacation

The house is a short walk to the beach and to a shopping center. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub but you should bring an umbrella because there is no shade during the day. We would rent this house again if we go back to the Outer Banks.

Dear hosts, Thank you so much for a wonderful time. I’ve had a lot of fun, but nothing quite compares to the experiences & memories I’ve made in your home. For example, I really enjoyed the opportunity to get engaged to the love of my life! (Love you babe!) Although I potentially had the worst sunburn of my life, it was all worth it for the experiences & memories. Finally, thank you so much for living so close to not only the beach, but the Food Lion!

How was very spacious, everything worked flawlessly!

Very easy, first time renting myself and the process was easy. The location is ideal simply due to the fact that we could walk to the grocery store and the beach. Neighbors were very nice.

September Stay

Overall, the property was very nice and well kept. We did notice several cockroaches either dead or scampering around, but those were easily dealt with. Aside from that, it is a great property in a nice, quiet neighborhood, with easy access to the beach and shopping.

If you're allergic to dogs

This house was beautiful and I understand the owners couldn't have predicted this but as we pulled in at approximately 4 pm check in time we seen a cleaner leaving the house with their dog and upon entering the main master bedroom on the top floor we noticed the comforter on the bed had dog hair all over it as well as a few other bed linens were dirty and not cleaned properly so we had to wash them immediately, other than that we loved the house and location to the ocean, it was a wonderful vacation!

Beach House by the Ocean

This was our first time in the outer banks and it was breathtaking! The house was comfortable as it has 7 rooms with bathrooms to accommodate. It is dated and could use some upgrades, definitely to the carpet and kitchen appliances. We cooked a lot and found that some of the dishes were not clean. Not so much a problem because we clean everything before using anyways. The pots and pans where old and could use an upgrade as well. The fridge did not get cold until late in the second day we were there. The pool and hot tub is the hilight of this house. We used the pool once as it was chilly but really utilized that hot tub. The beach is steps away like a 4 min walk and is gorgeous. And the house is behind a shopping area and activities area. The main TV did not work, and wouldnt connect to the cast or WiFi. Not sure why but TVs in the bedrooms worked fine. Over all it served its purpose as it was comfortable, spacious, close to activities and beach and the pool and hot tub is a plus!

Loved the house!

We had a great time here! The only problem we had was an hour after check in we still did not have a code to enter the house, I called the property manager with no answer so I called Vrbo and they were able to get us in. Seems as if they had recently sprayed for pest bc we found 4 half dead roaches during our stay. We were happy to find a high chair and baby gates in the home. The pool and hot tub were pristine. The food lion is directly behind the house along with a few stores and restaurants. The walk to the beach was short. Several of the outlets in the kitchen do not work and two beds on the first floor were not made, just had the sheets folded on a bare mattress. All of the restrooms did not have toilet paper but it was fine for us as we did not fill every room. Overall we had a great time here and would definitely return.

Loved the house!

Check in was very easy, got to the house at 4 and the code worked around 4:05-4:10. The house was very clean when my group got there (group of 14). There is is also a volleyball net in the backyard which was not advertised! The house says it’s about a 5 minute walk from the beach but it’s really only 3. All appliances worked when we got there however the main fridge on the 3rd level took a day to adhere to the food which was put in. Only complaint is that the air conditioning did not work well on the first level in the room with the two twin bunk beds, it got very hot at night. Also during the trip a person came to the house in expectedly to change the air filters. It was just odd it happened without warning and most of the guests weren’t in the house at the time. Other than that the trio was amazing !

Awesome house

We loved this house and enjoyed our short vacation here. Plenty of room, and was nice to have clean towels and such made available. The kids especially loved the pool and hot tub, and it was only a very short walk to the beach. Lovely neighborhood and would definitely stay here again.
