Property was nice but could use a deep clean. Some of the faucets were loose but other than that the property was just as pictured and the area was beautiful!

Family vacation

House was fine but beach access had no public parking or bathroom. We had to unload family and beach stuff at access to public beach then drive car back to rental and walk three blocks to get back on beach then repeat the walk and pick up process. The person walking to get car had three blocks each way.

Great stay!

This house was perfect for our group of 8 adults and 1 dog. House was clean and nicely furnished. Nice outdoor space and the pool and hot tub were just what we needed. About a nice 10-12 min walk to beach. Great location, close to shopping and other attractions.

Beach Tomatoes review

Overall the house was good. Rooms were somewhat smaller than described/pictured. House had been readied from the previous rental but not thoroughly cleaned. Floors had not been mopped and one tub/shower was clogged. All things that were easily handled but when paying that much money, expectation is property would be ready/cleaned for next group. Pool was a nice feature.

Our first time in OBx was very pleasant. We had no complaints with the house. It satisfied our needs perfect. There was a small issue with the pricing through VRBO and the rental agency but it was quickly rectified. Being new to Obx we weren’t familiar with anything. It took us a couple days to adjust to the beach travel. We now know what we need to do for future stays. The rental company was easy to work with. The girls that work there are very nice and helpful. We would definitely rent this house again. Thank you for letting us stay. We had a wonderful time

Very pleased

Over all please with our options of kitchen and the extra refrigerator downstairs. The pool was great loved having a place to sit and cool off on both ends 😎. It could us a additional parking space.

Beach Tomatoes Stay

House was nice with new renovations such as bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, carpeting, furniture and new Hot Tub and gas grill. Pots and pans were new and nice but not large enough to cook any large amount of food at once. The WORST thing about the kitchen was the coffee maker didn't work!! We had to go out every morning to find coffee! The pool was an issue, I chose a house with a pool and paid more money for this and couldn't use it. The pump only ran about 3-1/2 days of the 7 that we were there. It was dirty and cloudy most of the time and didn't know if it was chlorinated or not. I called Carolina Shores that Sunday morning and we never seen anyone nor the problem corrected. The WALK to the beach was a bit more than anticipated. The walk of 10 minutes was at a fast pace. To far if you had to return to the house to use the restroom. The path around the pond seemed to make it shorter if you didn't come across any snakes! Overall, the house was nice minus these two issues and the "WALK" to the beach and that would determine if we would stay here again. Thank you!

Quiet stay in Corolla

This is the second time we have stayed in this neighborhood. It's a quiet, family and dog friendly neighborhood. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. The house was perfect for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. Kitchen was well stocked and we cooked in for most meals. Beds were comfortable. The pool area was nice with plenty of chairs. The balcony overlooking the pool area was nice and shaded. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach and was through the neighborhood. Not a bad walk at all! Would definitely consider staying here again.

Homey but dirty

Location is nice and the property feels homey. Once I arrived, it was very noticeable the property was not cleaned. The entire house was super dusty. Dusty lamps, tables, ALL BLINDS etc. Every item we moved (example: toaster, coffee table, etc) there were crumbs and dirt underneath. The plastic shower curtains had mold and rust. The light switches were all filled with fingerprints and dust. I’m more than sure no one showed up to clean. The house itself is located in a very nice place and minutes to the beach. The beach is what I truly enjoyed about this trip.

Not bad for booking last minute, could have been cleaner and the kitchen was terribly small. 2 bathrooms are not enough for the amount of people they advertise this place sleeps.

Great vacation

Enjoyed the house and the location. We didn’t see the no parking on street sign at the beginning of the neighborhood and we did get a ticket so the only thing I’d change would be more signs.
