We had a lovely time at Paws & Claws.The house was as pictured. The AC worked beautifully all week. And the house was very comfortableThe beds were wonderfully comfortable. Everything was clean and very nice.It was a great location, very close to the park. Easy distance to walk or bike to town. The management company was exceptionally responsible and resolved a few minor problems, as soon as requested.We would love to opportunity to to stay again.

Great home in quiet location. Owners decorated and put up a tree for the holiday, which made our stay very special. Super clean home. Plenty of space for all. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, great hot tub.

Terrific Property
Overall a great family experience with lots of nooks and special places for alone time too. The view from the deck is perfect and special. Sunsets from above takes it to another level too. Quiet neighborhood with bike path available and access to Corolla is simple.
Upstairs living spaces are spacious and updated. There are some “end of the season” repairs and updates needed throughout the interior, exterior, grill and pool areas but that’s to be expected. Pet friendly also.
We loved the stay and would definitely recommend.

Our 3 generations of family members (+ 2 dogs) had a wonderful stay at Paws and Claws for Thanksgiving week. The house is very clean and well appointed - the top floor is the main hangout space with a gorgeous view of the beach. The beach in Corolla is lovely and we were lucky enough to see some horses one morning! Our hosts were very thoughtful and made sure all of our needs were met. 5 stars - we all loved it.

Great place to bring dogs for a beach vacation

House had a great layout - loved the many windows direct view of the beach from top floor living room. Nice reading room off the main living area. Deck could use a little maintenance (nail pops), and house was slightly worn, but to be expected for allowing dogs. Pool was great - six feet on one end, made it hard to play volleyball, but that's just us. Loved the beach access private walk. Beautiful neighborhood - walking distance to nature path, and nearby pickleball courts. We had a great time in this house.

Best place to stay!!!
Paws & Claws is the best place to stay in Corolla! Gorgeous views of the ocean from decks on every level, private walkway to the beach, heated pool, hot tub, pool table, three master bedrooms, pets welcome, and five minutes away from the ramp to drive onto the beach where the wild horses roam! We could tell that the property is kept up to date and modern (there is a brand new deck outside the sliding glass door on the third floor and the interior of the house appears to have been remodeled fairly recently). There’s nothing else we could ask for! Coast Realty was a great, responsive host! They answered all our questions and were even able to accommodate a travel cat! Everything was ready for us when we arrived (house was clean, pool heated, and hot tub was ready to go) and we were able to request and book an extra day while at the property! Thank you, Coast Realty!

The location is the saving grace of this property. While the desciptions of rooms, baths, amenities are accurate, the condition of the areas of the home and the overall cleanliness was subpar. Windows, floors, kitchen, deck furniture, front porch, all dirty. Furniture old, several dining chairs with crumpled legs, stove top needs replacing. The only can opener in the kitchen was broken.Fireplace appeared to be inoperable, or no instructions were provided. While the main living area is amazing with its views, having no options for shade from the morning sun directly in your eyes, no matter you sit is very uncomfortable and can easily be remedied with some shade blinds. We understood from the instructions to bring bed linens and towels. No issue, as we have done that multiple times with other VRBO rentals. However, we did not realize that we were to also bring bath mats, basic hand wash for every bathroom, kitchen towels, and an all purpose spray cleaner to keep things properly cleaned on a daily basis.Perhaps a collaboration between the property management and property owner could address these issues and give this wonderful location the rental value it deserves.Thank you.Lea Zivic

The views from this property are phenomenal! The deck is beautiful! The living room is spacious and comfy. The pool is the best pool we've ever had in 10 years renting in Corolla! The staff was very responsive - we had a maintenance issue and they came out very quickly. Just a couple of minor details that are not deal could have been a tad cleaner (railings on steps were sticky); there was no can opener and no storage bowls...just an FYI for future renters. All in all we loved the house!

Other than arriving at the home without being cleaned and the incident with the hot tub being dirty and not working our experience at paws and claws was wonderful. I will say the property management company did a great job responding to our issues. I would definitely recommend this home to others

The house was clean and everything was in good working order. The recent upgrades were very well done and the house was beautiful.I would like to compliment Beach Realty staff on their professionalism and communication skills. The were in contact early and frequently to check that everything was going well. We have been renting homes in Corolla for mire than five years from multiple agents and this was the best experience to date. I would highly recommend Beach Realty to anyone looking for a rental on the outer banks area.

We had the best time at Paws and Claws! The views are amazing, the home is in a great location, the pool is large, and the beds are comfortable. We had minor issues arise and the homeowner and management company took care of them immediately. Our private beach access was broken when we arrived due to the Nor'easter that hit the area the previous week and the homeowner had it repaired within 2 days, while everyone else on the beach had no private access their entire stay due to broken boardwalks. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation!

Great location right before the 4x4 only area. One day walking on the beach we actually got to see the wild horses. It is also a short walk to the nature boardwalk area. We enjoyed being close to shopping and the lighthouse. The house has just been updated. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could think of. We have been coming to the OBX for years and this was the best house yet.

Pristine property and location. Welcome kit was an excellent touch. Everything about this rental was excellent - relaxing decor, great furniture, many kitchen amenities, very welcoming environment for our crew ranging from age 10 to 64, and our dog. Many improvements taking place including some finishing up just before our arrival. Owners were attentive and accommodating. Is any rental situation ever 100% perfect - not likely. But our situations were so minuscule, they aren’t even worth listing here. The owners and Beach Realty took quick action. When we come back to Corolla, this place will be on the top of our rental list. Thank you!
