We stayed here for a girls trip and it was lovely!! The rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, and the patio was spacious and relaxing!! Amila is a wonderful resource while you are there - he was always available to help with everything we needed and was so pleasant to be around - thank you Amila!! There are a lot of steps up and down and you do have to do a water taxi or taxi (Amila can arrange) to go anywhere - nothing is within walking distance. We made it work and the villa was very inviting, clean, and fun - be sure to arrange the private chef - it was a highlight!

Excellent experience!The property is amazing, and located in a beautiful place.Be prepared to many steps, but that's how it is.The house keeper was extremely kind and helpful, and helped with the bags.The beach downstairs is lovely and the restaurants there are good.Highly recommended.

This was our best VRBO experience to date. The villa is even better in person than the pictures. Very well maintained, very comfortable and every feature was perfect, from the grotto pool to breakfast every morning overlooking paradise. The property managers Amila and Mira were wonderful and made sure everything we needed to have a great day was taken care of...even recommending and setting up solutions for water taxis, cars, restaurants and more. We lucked out, having never been to the Amalfi coast before, but this location in the sweet little village of Conca Dei Marini was ideal for us...3 restaurants steps below on our beach...another a 2 minute water taxi ride away. We loved being able to water taxi to the tourist center of Amalfi or the crowds of shoppers in Positano, and then coming home to our quiet cliffside grotto and a glass of wine. We will be back with friends.

Views for days

There are views from just about everywhere on the property. It has a good location between Amalfi and Positano. Getting around the Amalfi coast is challenging due to the topography, but there is a water taxi station steps away that can make it much easier. Amila and his wife and daughter were incredible and made our stay comfortable. He was helpful and had a lot of suggestions for what to do and where to go. It was a wonderful stay and I hope to go back again soon.

Amazing villa on the Amalfi Coast

Neither words nor pictures can truly capture the experience of staying at Villa Oriana on the Amalfi Coast. It has 4 bedrooms on 3 levels with 2 family rooms, a beautiful kitchen, 3 1/2 bathrooms, a large private pool and views from multiple balconies that are amazing. Villa Oriana is luxurious, opulent and you wont be jealous of any of the amazing yachts passing in the bay below. There is a private beach are with 3 restaurants below the villa. Very convenient for water taxis to any town on the Amalfi coast. Finally Amila and his family that manage the property on site are fabulous people. They served breakfast every morning at any time that was convenient for us. He helped arrange water taxis, shuttles dinner reservations and even went to the grocery store with us. an unforgettable experience. If heaven was on the Amalfi Coast

I can’t say enough good things about this villa. It was absolutely stunning and perfect in every way. The views of the coast, the grotto style pool and the Italian style kitchen were among many of things that we loved. The grounds keeper, Amila and his wife were very helpful and accommodating in every way - arranging for taxis, grocery runs and helping with baggage to and from the car. This place was perfectly located on the coast with easy access by boat ferry to all of the cities and access to one to the locals preferred beaches just at the bottom of the stairs. We also arranged for a private boat tour of the coast and Capri and they were able to pick us up at the dock at the beach. There are a lot of stairs, but the view and the villa more than make up for it. Honestly, if we were to go back we would probably just take full advantage of the villa and only leave for boat tours. It was everything we hoped for and more. Thank you for sharing your beautiful slice of heaven with us.

Excellent, Amila, his wife were amazing. The Villa is well kept. A lot of steps to get to road or beach but we knew that before we went and it was great exercise. Easy access to boats and taxis.(Amila was very helpful). The hi-lite of our trip was Amila, his wife and daughter made a nice home cooked dinner for us. Service, view, location, cleanliness, I highly recommend

Magnificent ! Our stay at Villa Oriana in Conca dei Marini was a dream vacation of a lifetime . From booking the villa with Simonetta to the welcoming upon our arrival by her daughter Francesca , and Maria came to tell us about all the excursions as well as transportation anywhere we wanted to visit along The views from Villa Oriana are stunning and breathtaking. The photos do not fully capture the beauty of this Amalfi coastal paradise . The Villa is gorgeous , spacious , and beautifully appointed and designed . (I wish there were less steps , …..but every step was worth it.) Another lovely part of this Villa is the on-site staff the Amila, his wife, Mara, and his daughter Sherina . They have their own apartment within the Villa grounds . They lavish us with care . Each morning began with a beautiful, continental breakfast served on the terrace with the glorious views of the Amalfi coast . They are only there when you need them and give you privacy the entire time . The villa consist of many steps …...there are many steps to get to the beach which is right below the Villa so whenever you are ready to go to Positano, Amalfi or Capri…..Amila calls a water taxi for you up on your request and within minutes , off you go. . There are also 3 restaurants and a cafe on the beach. When we returned , Amila and his family had the villa all freshened up for us . Thank You for treating our family like yours! We loved our entire experience . We LOVED Villa Oriana!

Excellent Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Oriana! The property is absolutely stunning - set high above the sea. The views from the rooms and patios are beautiful. It is very nicely laid out - the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, 2 large bedrooms share a bathroom and the 4th bedroom is quite separate and has a sitting area, bathroom and patio. It has a small, lovely pool which we really enjoyed. Amila, the property manager, was absolutely fantastic. He has a separate accommodation on the property and stays with his lovely wife Mara and daughter Sherina. They were all incredibly kind, very helpful and generous. It was wonderful to have them near by and they really made our stay even more memorable.The beach below the property is great for swimming and has several restaurants. There are lots of steps to get to the beach (and to the road.) The water taxis run to Amalfi (10 Euro / person) and Positano (40 Euro / person) - there was no negotiating price.

The most gorgeous views in Italy

Absolutely beautiful house with the most amazing views. The highlight of our trip was having Amila and his lovely wife and daughter be so kind and helpful at the home. They made our stay as great at it was. Only con about the home is the stairs down to the villa. There are so. many. Stairs. I would recommend packing lightly to avoid carrying bags up and down stairs. Overall, we had a great stay. Would absolutely recommend this villa.

Amalfi Dream

Villa Oriana was the highlight of our 3 week Mediterranean experience. The setting was stunning! The character of the villa took us back in time, the furnishings were beautiful. One of the most enjoyable and appreciated components of the stay was the help of the on-site attendant, Amila. He and his family made themselves available to assist with our every need, making arrangements for travel, restaurant reservations and assistance with other incidentals. We would love to stay there again. The convenience of several restaurants at the beach below was great.

Disheartening Experience

While the Oriana Villa was beautiful and the view exquisite, the villa I paid for was not the villa I got. As of today, 03/13/2023, I haven't received a deposit refund nor a written justification for the villa owner keeping my full deposit since leaving the villa on10/23/2022. VRBO also has not received any correspondence regarding the return of my deposit. Oriana Villa was advertised on various websites with different information. Some stated it had: 5 bedrooms, it only has 4; 5 or 4 ½ bathrooms, only 3 ½; a clothes dryer, it did not have one; 60 or 100 stairs from SS163, it is over 200. Advertised luggage lift but it was not operational. We had to pay to have a porter carry the luggage up and down the 200+ stairs. Previous guests had positive comments regarding the staff on the property that cleaned, prepared breakfast and helped with the logistics such as, suggestions for restaurants and tours, reservations and obtaining transportation (taxi, ferry, driver, bus). I expected this same level of service. Unfortunately, the staff member who was staying on the property acted inappropriately so he had to be asked to leave the villa. The villa did provide substitute staff to prepare breakfast and clean the villa. But no one stayed on the property to regularly clean the pool, perform other maintenance, or help with logistics. It was the trip of a lifetime, and I would give Conca dei Marini 5 stars but ZERO STARS FOR VILLA OWNER'S RESPONSIVENESS.

Beautiful villa, PERFECT location, and great people!

The villa can accommodate 8 people easily and still feel very specious and private! The house is wonderful- tastefully decorated, lovely gardens, and incredible views from several terraces. The pool is much deeper and fits more people than it appears to as well. There is a gorgeous beach and two restaurants just a short walk downstairs from the villa and water taxis at the port to easily and quickly take you to various towns nearby. There is also a Sita bus stop right at the top of the villa stairs so getting around is very easy! The on site contact, Serafina, is amazing- she greeted us upon arrival and was always available for any questions we had or to help us with arranging grocery delivery, porters, drivers, tours, etc! She truly made our experience easy, relaxing, and special. We always felt like we had a guide to contact if we needed anything at all. Notes to keep in mind: there’s lots of stairs (as expected on the coast), be very cautious with ceramics as breaking a plate can cost $50+, AC is only in the bedrooms, but the villa is mostly in the shade from the afternoon onward so plan accordingly.

Prachtige omgeving, het beste is om alles met de watertaxi te doen. Je moet wel van traplopen houden. Het huis is oud met een prachtig uitzicht. Je krijgt 24/7 een man bij het huis die alles voor je regelt zoals broodjes halen.

Great stay!

Overall very stunning place and had a nice time. Sitting and/or eating outside was one of the highlights of the trip. Beach area in Conca Dei Marini was great as well. Only negatives are WIFI could have been faster, and the kitchen could have better supplies. For a villa this expensive, both should have been better, but neither was a big deal.

Quiet Conca Beautiful Oriana Villa

Exclusive Villa staff who assist VRBO bookings was wonderful to communicate and work with and they provided transfers car shuttle and boat excursions and suggestions to restaurants and more! Luigi local Contact welcomed us to the Villa and was great with suggestions! Sudan was there for housekeeping and more and assisted with bags! The views are amazing from the villa and the restaurants on the beach helpful and good. The restaurants in Conca will pick you up at the bottom of road if called. The Sita avoid and take as many water boat or ferry rides that you can. We will return to the Amalfi coast and we welcome anyone to stay at my VRBO rental in Haena Hawaii VRBO 1700055

Excellent family vacation... stunning views... great service

This property was recommended by friends so we had a high degree of confidence that it was a good choice... and it was. The layout was perfect for our family; a master with a bath, 2 upper level bedrooms that shared a bath, and a lower level apartment that offered additional privacy. There are multiple terraces with stunning views and the pool is both functional to cool down and great to gather socially. The location offers a balance of privacy and access to popular tourist spots. In the marina you will find family owned / operated restaurants and boat services. For us the key to optimizing our use of these was Sudan, who lives on property and is there to help you enjoy your visit. Apart from his normal routine of breakfast and housekeeping, he will be interested to know your daily program so that he can assist you in making it happen. For example the day we wanted to rent beach chairs... he had it done in a perfect spot, trips to Amalfi, Ravello, Capri, Positano... he made sure we knew how to get there and back with ease, food liquor etc from the market... done, food delivery from the restaurant- one call from Sudan and it’s done. Our family felt safer with his presence on site and grateful for his attentiveness and hard work. On the planning side, everything Francesca arranged (ground transportation, Pompeii tour went exactly as planned). The car service they used was excellent. Our suggested list of things you should be prepared for prior to your visit. First the only spaces that are air conditioned are the bedrooms. You will be able to enjoy a beautiful sunrise... however direct sun till the afternoon. So you may find yourself using shutters etc. to get the right balance of breezes and shade to lower the temperature of the common living space. Bring bath supplies (soaps, shampoo etc), and you may be find yourself wanting a few more towels (we purchased beach towels from the beach vendor downstairs). On the money side, in the marina we were for the most-part able to use credit cards... however cash is handy for tips etc. and there is no ATM right there. So we found ourselves planning our cash needs on our trips to Amalfi etc. You’ll also find cash handy when you settle at checkout for things like electric overage, things you may have purchased from the market etc, and your likely gratuity for Sudan. Lastly be prepared for the steps... hit the stair master the month prior to travel. Net net... a beautiful vacation spot.

gorgeous villa near Amalfi

Our family loved our time at this beautiful villa. The home is lovely with a great kitchen, patios with spectacular views, grill, large bedrooms, great bathrooms, living area was so comfortable. The pool overlooking the sea was beyond compare and we used it often. The nearby beach is very accessible by private stairs. Several restaurants at the beach make your day so enjoyable and relaxing as you can spend a day at the beach, have a delicious lunch and swim all day. Luigi was so helpful, going way beyond what you would expect, he never failed to meet our every need, arranging restaurant trips and tennis dates. Sudan was there for us at all times and provided over the top service for our family. He was so congenial and energetic, friendly and helped us so much. We will never forget our visit and hope to return another time.

Fantastic!

Villa Oriani was Incredible! Located in a small cove, between Amalfi and Priaeno , the villa met all of our. Weds ...and more. 4 Bedrooms easily accommodated four couples, the "grotto" style spa was a perfect place to chill out in the afternoon. Roughly 130 steps to the beach, featuring three beachfront eateries, gave us plenty of dining options if we did not wanted to eat locally. The beach also provided easy access to beach transportation to Amalfi and Positano. The villa was perfect for our needs, I can't imagine staying anywhere else.
