"Very Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel and room was perfect, air con was a massive help in this weather. The spa facilities were the best and just what we needed. Will be back again soon!"

"The hotel needs air conditioning in all bedrooms as the rooms were too hot.
There were no fridges in the bedrooms to keep water cold etc which was disappointing as we had to ask for glasses of ice to do this.
Staff were exceptional and the spa and swimming pool were really good.
A great location on the edge of Dartmoor with access to some great walks."

"The owners were so lovely took time to come and speak with us, interested in what we had planned. Our room and the hotel were very clean.
Nice to have the outdoor pool, with pool towels, attention to detail was the best.
Pre ordered breakfast meant it was quick and hot.
Would totally recommend this hotel x"

"The Derwent Hotel itself was good and the hotel receptionist helped a lot when we had an issue with the Spa service.
We went for my friend's birthday stayed on the Saturday night, had a great time and booked a surprise treatment for the Sunday morning, when she went down for the treatment it was not on their system and the receptionist was abrupt to my friend and asked if she had the right date, I went and showed all the information ( emails, when I phoned and the money that had been taken from...
