"We stayed at this location myself , my daughter, my best friend and her daughter and her husband. We all fit nicely in the home. The property was great. Very clean. Check in was easy and they communicated via text which made it SO easy. Everything was as expected and listed. We would absolutely stay here again when we return. The property is lovely, comfortable, large & open with all the appliances and amenities needed.It is in a good location close to Acadia National Park, as well as Winter Harbor & Ellsworth which has all the stores, restaurants shopping you would need.Our only issue (which the host obviously could not control) were the flying/biting insects on the in the area which we did not expect in Sept. "This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again."

"This place appears to be fairly new and was in excellent condition. There were a firepit and barbecue grill outside. The owners were extremely accommodating and helpful. We did an afternoon hike through a nearby wildlife refuge. The kitchen was very well supplied with utensils and cooking equipment."
