Tranquil Tiny House Perfect for Hiking Trails in Baffle Creek, Queensland
- Come experience the breathtaking beauty of this tiny house, located at the base of Mt Colosseum (known as Mugul by the local Indigenous people Gooreng Gooreng) in Queensland. The perfect wilderness retreat surrounded by wildlife, such as black-striped and red-shoulder wallabies, kangaroos, bandicoots, and over sixty bird species.
What's more, we have several walking trails led by your friendly guide, Lee to get you that much-needed exercise, along with the opportunity to climb Mugul, Gladstone's second-highest peak. PRO-TIP: Mount Mugul is best climbed in the winter, as the summer can be extremely hot.
The Space:
It sits near the small town of Miriam Vale in the Gladstone Region. Nestled atop one of our small hills with sweeping views of Mugul Mountain, surrounded by native trees, and native wildlife such as goannas, bandicoots and possums. Nearby Miriam Vale, Moore Park Beach, and Baffle Creek are just a few of the attractions available. A comfortable accommodation with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for your use.
