Perfect location for the Pikes Peak Marathon. All the amenities for a good night sleep and place to rest post race. Hosts were fabulous at answering pre arrival questions.

Great Stay in Manitou Springs

The Carriage House is a beautiful, elegant historic home across the street from a park, and just blocks from the main shopping street. Everything was immaculate. The hosts are super nice and very prompt in responding. We had trouble parking in the downtown area and asked if we could park at the house earlier than check in time. Kris responded right away and was very accommodating- just as we found a parking spot on the street after all. I would definitely recommend it highly!

Perfect place!

The unit was perfect for a stay in downtown Manitou Springs. The location couldn’t be better — literally across the street from a park/playground and right by all of the shops, restaurants, and penny arcade. The unit itself was immaculate and very well-stocked with essentials (toilet paper, soap, etc). Check-in and check-out were easy. Note that the parking spot is very tight, as mentioned in other reviews. Your car-manipulation skills will be tested if you have a large car. :) While in the area, we visited Garden of the Gods, rode the Pikes Peak cog train, did a tour of the cave at Cave of the Winds, and spent a lot of time strolling around Manitou Springs. I’m not sure when we will next be in Colorado, but I hope we make it back to this spot soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Heart of Manitou Springs! The home is very nice and exceptionally clean. The home is across the street from the town park and a short walk away from down town. We sat on the patio in the evenings and listened to the live music at the park. Overall a great place to stay!

Location, location, location

This property sits right downtown the quaint town of Manitou Springs. Very convenient to everything. We visited Colorado Springs, rode the cog train, attended a concert at The Red Rocks Amphitheater, visited The Garden of the Gods as well as The Royal Gorge. It was a great week. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Nice place in Manitou Springs

Great apartment in a good location. Well furnished and the bottle of wine given by the hosts was a nice added touch.Directions to the parking area did not work with our GPS and we had to explore to find it, so would suggest more specific directions to the area.

Beautiful and Peaceful!!

Thank you so much for taking such good care of the Historic Carraige House and for bringing it back to life. My husband and I lived on the 1st floor in the mid 1980's and it was so nice to see all of the improvements that have been made. We had a very relaxing and wonderful stay.

We were looking for a weekend getaway and wanted a place within walking distance of downtown Manitou Springs. This property checked that box for sure. The house was as described and very well decorated. The hosts were very good about communicating and addressed one minor request we had.

Underwhelming

It was a little difficult to find the parking area to the property which is behind the residence down an alley which leads to the property that is not lit very well at night. The access to the property was somewhat shady with people just hanging out in a lot at night behind the property, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable unloading luggage. We had to walk down a pathway with luggage to get to the front door because the rear entry code at the parking area would not work. The only postive was the location to the downtown restaurants and shops.

Amazing stay!

Our stay was absolutely Amazing! Great Communication with owners, and the property was stopped with everything we could possibly need. The location was by far the best! We felt very safe and comfortable and can't wait to come back again.

Perfect 3-day retreat

The property is lovely and historic, across the road from a pretty park and a creek, and 1 minute on foot from the downtown. The porch and patio are both great for relaxing. The nearby mountains rise on all sides. The beds are comfortable. The hosts are friendly and responsive. We came to read, write, rest, and explore- so much to see and do in the area. We'll be back!
