The property was mostly as expected and the reviews I've read are mostly accurate. Some of the passed negative comments have been addressed by the operator. The main negative for us was cleaning and the water. The house could have been cleaner. We pre-washed everything that we used in the kitchen and I don't think the floor was mopped because I wore white socks around the house and they became dark grey. There was a notice about the quality of the water and a ten litre cask of drinking water was provided but the tap water smelled and had a bit of colour so showering and brushing teeth were a worry. However, the location was excellent, serenity perfect, layout of the house was good, it had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay. It was expensive even compared to other places in the area, so perhaps the owners could spend some of that money on water filtertration. As well, it could be further improved by new kitchen cabinets and exterior paint. It is clad with unpainted fibro and so looks cheap and unfinished. Not what would be expected in a property at this level.
