  • This is a beautifully furnished modern 3-bedroom apartment sleeping 5. Centrally located in Clifden town, a bustling market town in beautiful Connemara. With a large outdoor terrace, it overlooks the picturesque Clifden Bay and is a two-minute walk to wonderful shops, restaurants, bars and café's. This is a perfect base when exploring the Connemara region. An ideal property for couples, families or small groups of friends. Local activities include kayaking, surfing, fishing, hill walking, pony trekking, golf, boat trips and much more.
    Facilities:
    3 Bedrooms – Sleeps 5. The apartment is a beautifully furnished modern, bright and spacious property with high quality furnishings and fittings. It is located on the lower level of the apartment block and is accessed from street level by descending a flight of exterior steps. The lounge area has beautiful comfortable cream Italian leather sofas, electric stove heater, TV with Sky channels. The fully equipped kitchen has all modern conveniences including microwave, kettle, toaster, dish washer, fridge freezer, electric cooker, washer/dryer and the adjacent dining area has an extending table which can seat 6 persons. The French doors in the living area provide access to the large outdoor terrace which offers views of Clifden Bay and harbour. The apartment has 3 bedrooms – 1 double room,1 single room and 1 king size bedroom with ensuite bathroom & shower. All bedrooms offer lovely views over the terrace, garden and harbour. There is also a separate family bathroom, with bath & overhead shower, WC & sink. Electric heating throughout property. The terrace is very spacious with an array of outdoor furniture available. Cot and high chair available on request. Towels and bed linen is provided. Wi-Fi available. Electricity and heating included. No smoking indoors. Pets welcome by request only. Pay and display parking available and free public parking available close by.
    A security deposit of €150 is required for this property. Our reservations team will arrange this with guests prior to arrival. Pre-authorisation of a payment card will be required.

Nice place and great location

The place is bigger than you think from the pictures which made it comfortable for us to stay. The view is nice of the water and perfectly located to the town.

Wonderful Flat in Clifden

We loved this apartment. Set in a beautiful spot on the bay a short walk from the restaurants and shops, it’s a great spot to enjoy Clifden and all that Connemara has to offer.

Toller Ort um Connemara zu erkunden. Die Lage ist super auch was Einkaufen und Abendgestaltung angeht. Alles in wenigen Schritten zu erreichen. Einige Geräte in der Küche sind etwas in die Jahre.Parkplatz fehlt.

Excellent property and location

Was looking for a central location to explore the Connemara area - this was it. An extra bonus was to find a grocery next door and that the entire village was walking distance. Would be happy to return

Fabulous apartment

A very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean apartment in a beautiful location close to all amenities. Only downside is no dedicated parking but there is free street parking nearby.

Clifden Stay

We had a quick 2 night stay- definitely could have stayed much longer! The apartment was cozy, spacious and perfect for us. Especially enjoyed the patio and water views. Fun pubs with live music in walking distance. Hiked Diamond upper and lower loop trail. We hope to come back some day!! Go to Griffins to see Jack O'Reilly!

Trip to London and Clifden

We were impressed with the view, the appartment was clean and very well equipped. Very quiet even though it's on a busier street, everything is within walking distance, free parking on the street just in front. There are some stairs to get to the rental, but it's clearly stated in the VRBO description, so we knew about it. Highly recommended!

Lovely Stay

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment offered enough space for our family of 4. The location is perfect! Less than a minute to Clifden’s village center. Our only issue was with the water pressure in the master shower, the shower stopped running when water was being used elsewhere in the apartment. We let the property management company know, so hopefully that will be fixed.

Great find super location well equipped apartment!

The apartment is right in the town with a main supermarket right next door. Yet it’s not busy and its own entrance at the back makes for a peaceful setting overlooking the water. The apartment itself is very spacious and the master room is super with a hotel standard bed. We never had an issue finding a space across the street to park (September). Our little dog loved the gated garden. We will be back!

Nice appartment

Appartement grand et agréable. Chambres spacieuses. Cuisine bien équipée. Belle terrasse et très belle vue. Par contre, la pompe à eau est très bruyante et cela est très désagréable. Il faut donc l'éteindre la nuit et la rallumer le matin. L'appartement est très bien placé en plein centre et un supermarché à 2 min. à pieds.

Perfect!

This property is one of the nicest self-catering, pet-friendly holiday homes we have ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and the various food goodies left for us were very much appreciated. The kitchen is modern (eye-level oven, grill and microwave) and very well equipped. There is enough cupboard room to store one's own provisions. The sitting-room is not a separate room (as one might think looking at the photo on the property's webpage) but continues on from the kitchen and has its own sliding door opening out to the terrace. The TV worked without any problems and offers all the usual channels plus the Sky ones. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds (lovely bedlinen) very comfortable. Enough good quality towels were left on the beds and some toiletries provided in the bathroom and the en-suite bathroom. The shower in the en-suite is powerful. There are also heaters in the bathrooms. The central heating worked very well and it was cosily warm throughout the apartment. The terrace is large and the view over to the harbour just lovely. There is outdoor seating and it would be very nice to sit out in good weather. The property is very nicely furnished and it was certainly with the comfort of the visitor upmost in the mind of the owner. The location of the apartment is just superb! It's only about 100 metres to the very good SuperValu and the town centre with the shops, restaurants and pubs is just a few more steps away. There is no dedicated parking spot for the apartment and although the reserved spaces were not occupied during our stay we did not park in any of them but found a place across the road. The only small drawback is the flight of steps down/up to/from the apartment but we managed fine. We truly enjoyed our stay in this property and will definitely return!

Fantastic location and welcome items

The location is fabulous. The apartment was warm and cosy and the welcome items were a lovely treat. We had everything we needed such as dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid so we didn’t have to go out to shop to find these. I would love to return in summer one year.

Clifden holiday apartment

There were lots of steps down to the apartment making it difficult to get luggage to and from the apt. We were lucky there was a parking space available during our stay but there is no allocated space for the property. We felt the property needed a good deep clean and rugs cleaned/replaced. Other than that the apartment was basic and it would take very little effort /expense to make it much more comfortable.

Excellent base for Connemara

Out 2nd year visiting this little oasis right in the centre of clifden Beautiful patio great views yet in 2min you are in the centre of clifden for groceries, or a bite to eat in the lovely restaurants or bakery. We will be back again to this home from home Thank you Sinead Family 2 adults 2 teens and dog

We really enjoyed our stay and can warmly recommend the apartment. (only for people without mobility problems, because of the stairs down to the entry) (+) Large, well-divided apartment (+) quiet (+) central (++) large terrace with a beautiful view (-) non The only thing that we missed a little was a little piece of rain-protected space on the terrace (umbrella, awning)

Great 4 Day Break

Had a lovely few days in Clifden Galway, the apartment was very clean with lots of towels and plenty of space. The Town center location was great, very quiet at night. Steps down to the apartment might be a problem for older people but , a lovely view from the outside terrace.
