This was a great house for our family Thanksgiving during pandemic times. The space is perfect, the kitchen is pretty well equipped, and the hot tub and ping pong table were a big hit with everyone.
The reason I didn’t give this property a 5 star rating is some important details were missing. First, the bed in the main floor master is terribly uncomfortable and should be replaced as it sinks in the middle. Really tough on our backs. Also, the heat in that bedroom didn’t work well and it was very chilly. When we checked in, there was a broken candle holder in the living room and missing wall sconce in the upstairs master. A kitchen cabinet door was not properly attached properly and fell off when opened. The property maintenance team was very responsive and fixed it promptly though, which we appreciated. One suggestion is that the house should be stocked with basics (toilet paper, towels, dishwasher detergent, etc) appropriate for the number of guests and length of stay. We had to request additional supplies for these things which was annoying. Again, maintenance staff were very responsive but we shouldn’t have had to ask.
Due to the limitation of access to resort because of the pandemic, I think the resort fees were excessive. This house has a lot to offer but someone needs to look at the details more closely. We would stay again if these things were addressed.
