Cottage getaway

Joe & Michelle were great! Very personable. Made sure we were having a good time and that we knew things to see and do in the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Galway without staying in the city!

AMAZING place to stay near Galway

Joe is a fantastic host and his property is gorgeous! If I ever end up back in Ireland, it’d be worth planning my schedule around dates that are free at this location. The gardens are amazing, the house dog is very friendly, and Joe went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

Coziest Cottage

We absolutely loved this stay! The owners were so helpful and communicated very well with us. There was a lovely hot tub in the back and the cottage was beautiful! It was also very clean and had everything we needed. The owner also gave us great restaurant recommendations. Would 10/10 recommend. The town of Clarinbridge is adorable as well.

Rosewood Cottage

Joe Donnelly was a very fine host. He gave us nice recommendations. We stayed for 3 days to visit the Cliffs of Moher and Connemara. We had a beautiful time. Joe gave us a warm & welcome feeling.

Clean and quiet

The house was a good location to explore Galway, etc. Enjoyed the nearby path to town and ate in town as well. House was clean, hot tub was immaculate, backyard was peaceful and Joe was great to speak with.

Galway Getaway!

Rosewood Cottage is a very nice accommodation and the owners have done an amazing job providing their guests with an excellent experience from restaurant suggestions to resourcing when and where we could find some tradition Irish music. Fantastic stop on our tour! Thanks!

Perfectly amazing!

Wow! If I was able I’d give this 10 stars! It’s a beautiful property (I even asked Michelle and Joe for sources for their decor!). Joe greeted us warmly and showed us around. It’s light and contemporary. It’s conveniently located to take in much sightseeing —-and on a gorgeous 2 acre property. I thought it was brand new as everything sparkles. You have your own 2 bedroom cottage with privacy and the private hot tub was amazing at night. Joe is warm and full of ideas and information on things to do. We loved it here and would absolutely come back and stay longer. Don’t miss this gem! Joe and Michelle are A+ hosts. Thank you!

Wish we stayed longer

Best host we had in two weeks in Ireland. Didn't expect to use the hot tub but glad we did, fantastic way to relax in the middle of the trip. Some personal touches we wished other places included were robes, coffee/tea and bread and butter upon arrival, and an adapter if we didn't have one. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful, quiet spot.

It was an amazing place to stay. You enter up a winding, gravel driveway and are greeted by the owner's gorgeous house. Going around back takes you to the lodging. There is parking around back and we were greeted by the owner. He was very friendly and warm and gave us a quick tour and instructions on using the hot tub.

Home from home

What a wonderful time we had at rosewood cottage . The garden the hot tub the cottage was all absolutely amazing. Joe was such a friendly host so lovely. We had our son who is autistic with us and it was just the perfect place for him to relax and chill. And you could either just chill at the cottage or walk around the gardens with beautiful flowers and a herb garden and vegetable garden. And we loved getting paid a little visit by his lovely dog Milo who just peeped around the corner Such a friendly dog. Joe gave us loads of information where to go so you won’t be stuck for restaurants or places to visit. And the whole stay is completely private all you need to do is txt joe if you need anything. I would definitely stay at rosewood cottage again and there is everything you need you do not need to take anything at all it is definitely a home from home. All linen towels robes shampoo shower gel . Fridge basics cupboard basics also some lovely sourdough and pure orange for breakfast . Such a lovely touch with all these things provided. Don’t hesitate to book rosewood cottage . And the cottage is absolutely spotless . Thank you joe for the wonderful stay

Awesome experience!

This stay was incredible. Perfect location for several towns including Galway. Joe was an excellent host and we arrived to snacks to get us started. Hot tub at night was so relaxing. Would highly recommend.

Comfortable, charming, and relaxing

The home is in a lovely area. It is close to some yummy seafood restaurants. The space was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was clean and in a private cozy backyard area. The hosts were so nice and helpful. Would absolutely recommend!

Awesome cottage

Such a lovely country cottage. We absolutely loved our stay. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and the host, Joe, was wonderful and very helpful. This cottage is in a perfect location to explore Galway, Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, etc. I consider myself a little snobbish when it comes where I want to sleep and I would absolutely! stay here again.

Perfect weekend break!

Rose cottage was all you could want from a peaceful retreat. Thoroughly relaxing with all amenities and mod cons, the centre piece of which would have to be the amazing hot tub! The host made sure everything was perfect from booking until departure. We would definitely recommend and will hopefully be visiting again soon.

Best Stay in Ireland

Our 2 week vacation included four B&B/VRBO stays and Rosewood cottage was by far our favorite spot in Ireland. Joe and Michelle were awesome hosts and the cottage felt like "home". We stayed 3 nights and found the cottage stocked with great thoughtful touches.... bathrobes and beach towels for the hot tub, electric converters and adapter, fresh breakfast items, ice, high-speed wifi and wonderful restaurant recommendations. We went to nearby Morans Oyster House twice. Their seafood chowder, hake and native oysters were the best we tasted in all of Ireland. Rosewood cottage makes a great home base between Cliffs of Moher/Burren and Galway/Connemera. We will definitely return when we visit Ireland again. Thanks Joe and Michelle for capping our trip with such a sweet ending.

What an amazing place!

This was by far our favorite place to stay in Ireland. A beautiful property away from the noise of town. So peaceful! The house is amazing and clean and had everything we needed. Joe is such a nice guy. He helped with information and reservations and even gave us a ride. I cant say enough good things. We will be back for a longer stay!

A wonderful stay are Rosewood Cottage

My kids and I are just back from Ireland and our stay at Rosewood Cottage was perfect! Joe is the most accommodating, friendly and helpful host. The cottage is impeccable and was centrally located for us to visit family and tour Galway Co. we lived the openness of the cottage, the privacy and the hot tub was a nice treat after a long day hiking in Connemara. I highly recommend this location and Joe as your host!

Un petit paradis dans une magnifique région

Ce cottage joliment agencé et très confortable est bien situé dans la région (environ 1h falaises de Moher, et Connemara). L'accueil du propriétaire est exceptionnel. Joe a su nous conseiller afin que notre séjour soit le plus réussi possible. Le petit plus un spa pour un moment de détente après une journée d'excursion. A recommander sans aucune restriction.

Modernes, sehr gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in günstiger Lage für touristische Aktivitäten

Das Ferienhaus wird in allen Belangen dem annoncierten fünf Sterne Charakter gerecht - es ist hochwertig und mit moderner Technik incl. schnellem Internet ausgestattet. Ein besonderes Plus ist der geräumige Außenwhirlpool, in dem man sich selbst bei Regen sehr gut aushalten kann. Das Haus ist in einem sehr ruhigen Villenviertel gelegen, die auf dem Grundstück lebenden Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und sehr hilfbereit, dabei gleichzeitig komplett unaufdringlich und diskret, Trotz der ruhigen Lage sind touristische interessante Ziele [Galway, Burren, Cliffs of Mohair, aber auch die Arran Islands, viele Ziele in Connemare und in Zentralirland) mit vertretbaren Zeitaufwand erreichbar. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
