We stayed for over a week, a much better experience than staying in a (more expensive) hotel downtown. In a way, it reminded us of the years we lived in a loft in Chicagos South Loop. Responsive property, not intrusive, well-equipped loft, with everything one needs for daily life.OTR is located next to downtown and is close to everything, accessible by walking or using the free "Connector". For those who need to travel further away, the bus system works surprisingly well.Near the property, some of the best places for eating out: Brown Bear Bakery (top breakfast in Cincy), Taglio (Italian), Taquería Mercado (on Walnut St, Mexican, not Tex-Mex), Fillo (on Race St, spectacular branzino, Greek), Longfellow for a drink or two after work.About the noise: Although it's undoubtedly an urban setting, the windows (new or nearly new) provide excellent insulation from traffic and people outside. The bar on the first floor does not offer music (live or not), and despite the lively atmosphere, we didnt feel the noise upstairs. True, the bells from the catholic church next door chime occasionally. By the way, mass follows Tridentine rite, in English, Latin, sung Latin, and even German (just in case you are into it).
