Perfect!

This was a wonderful stay! Communication from the owner was easy and informative. Location was amazing- we walked for coffee and even were within walking distance of the Observatory. Parking was easy and the house had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property!

70 solo w/chihuahua's visiting for holidays

My 1st vrbo, knew Hyde Park well so the location is so convenient to downtown, N Ky, Anderson Twp. Thought the steps may be too steep but was good cardio LOL. Parked right out front was great, house is great, didn't use stove because it's gas not electric. Water hot/cold dispenser, kuerig, bath & bed were all terrific. Host answered quickly - I was kind of lost about streaming, Perfect for 1-2 ppl and small dogs. Interesting 1910 home!

Leaks Like a Sieve

Outside steps (more than listing shows) have damaged gripping and were not cleared of leaves or ice upon arrival. No salt provided for steps. Cracks and paint chipping throughout property not shown/mentioned in listing. The couch's right legs were broken, causing the couch to lean to the right. Contacted owner who waited two days to respond with no fix. I guess we'll share the one-person chair. All fabric surfaces were stained (photos taken with timestamps): chair, couch, rug, bedspread, and some pillows. The towels, though appearing clean, smelled like wet dog. After washing, they were fine. The basement where washer/dryer are had a small stream running through it (there was a lot of rain/ snow that weekend), but again, no mention of needing outdoor gear for a trip to do laundry. A/C units were left in multiple windows causing the house to leak like a sieve. This caused the furnace to stay on, which caused a very uncomfortably dry air quality. No additional water jug as mentioned in the welcome packet. Expired food, drink, and open condiments left in the kitchen. Floors were noticeably crooked. The mildew-smelling "office" (upstairs loft) lacked a CPU monitor as mentioned in the listing. My wife and I served in the Army for over a combined three decades, so this wasn't the worst living conditions to which we've been exposed. Our days of austere accommodations are behind us. We will not return to this location, nor would we recommend even the opposing Army stay here.

Such a cute little cottage! Very convenient location to many of Cincinnati’s attractions. Owners have an exceptional eye for detail on what is needed/provided for a comfortable stay! Can’t wait to stay again!

Cinci’s Cozy Cottage

The cottage is charming with many conveniences. We dealt directly with the owner who was very responsive. Many things are within walking distance so the location is excellent but be aware that Erie is a busy street. Although on most of our days there, we found parking on Erie, there were times we had to park on a side street. Overall a very positive week long stay!

Great little place in a great little neighborhood

This little house with a little backyard was just perfect for a stay in Cincinnati. The neighborhood was super cute with so many interesting restaurants. Wish we had more time to try them all! Close to everything, felt very safe, the park next door was a big plus, especially since we had our dog with us. Check-in/out was totally stress-free. Would definitely stay here again for another visit to Cincinnati.

Cute house, great location, very walkable area

This house was perfect for us. The neighborhood felt very safe and free street parking was available in front of the house. We loved that we could walk to the local eateries. There’s a UDF store located across the street which came in handy. The property manager was very responsive!
