"As a single traveller I felt very safe and comfortable in this very conveniently located apartment. It’s quaint and had everything I needed a 2 night stay. Extra comfy bed. Whitby is absolutely lovely. The host Amarjit was extremely responsive and helpful with all my questions. I highly recommend this property "

"A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby."

"The cottage was beautiful. Clean, cozy, and ideal for our needs. We will return the next time we are down. If i had one observation and it wasnt an issue to us, was we have a travel fridge in the car, a mini fridge in the room would have been ideal for milk.. Otherwise, a lovely place and it felt like a home from home"

"Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space."

"We had a great stay at Keep Cottage. The cottage is in a perfect position for exploring Pickering but at the same in a lovely quiet location a stones throw from the old castle. Parking was on the street but never a problem. The cottage was warm, cosy and well equipped. We would definitely stay again."

"It was a lovely little cottage, had everything we could need. Staff were also very helpful. very comfortable place. We enjoyed our stay very much. However the mattresses were a bit hard but that made little difference. We still slept well 😊 would recommend! "

"The Nutshell is a lovely little place, perfect for a stay in Whitby. Great location close to the harbour and town centre. Very clean and everything you need, hob, oven and all crockery and utensils. Nice feel to the place, makes you feel like you’re at the seaside. Great communication with the owners. Would 100% stay again. I was there for a week and had a wonderful time."

"Lovely property in an ideal location to walk and explore Whitby. Very clean and tidy. Well stocked kitchen for cooking bits and pieces. Plenty of information of the surrounding areas and clear instructions regarding bins, parking, check in and heating. Brilliant communication from the hosts before stay. "El personal super calido y amable, en especial la chica que tienen en los desayunos, te hace sentir bienvenido y cuidado, solo que a mucho personal le hace falta su gafete con su nombre, lo cual es una pena y no se pueden identificar bien. Los cuartos son espaciosos y las camas son realmente cómodas, pero es decepcionante la limpieza, la tina estaba extremadamente sucia, en especial el desagüe, no es agradable bañarse en un lugar así. El gimnasio cuenta con mucho equipo variado y eso es un 10, pero es extremadamente frío y no nada agradable, tambien las maquinas las tienen oxidadas y da un pésimo aspecto a el área, como si estuviera descuidada. Claramente volveré al hotel, pero solo por su muy amable servicio, cómodas camas y excelente ubicación, sería increíble si pusieran atención a los detalles, le daría ése plus que necesita."

"I have to admit that, in my case, I didn’t enjoy at all. Staff is so inflexible, I was in a business trip. Impossible to get a cold sandwich after 9pm (arrived at 9:07) no other options in town except an Indian. The hotel is pet friendly which I like but for the rest not an option for me. A pity because I was expecting something different. The rooms are fine but too many steps and a bit caotic "
