The condo was really nice and cozy. We had a relaxing time. Bring extra blankets if you come in winter.Some of the kitchen items needed to be washed before using and we needed a few more pots and pans to make our holiday feast.

A perfect week

Plenty of room to accommodate everyone’s needs for community and individual time. The location is absolutely perfect and gorgeous for sunsets. The kitchen is well stocked and the management team was amazing. We will absolutely be back!

Home away from home

Great home, great location. Everything in the home was perfect. The owner had shelves and hooks everywhere they were needed. This gave it a personal touch for us. We could put things in the bathroom and kitchen without moving things out of the way. The home was very clean. The book in the home describing restaurants, explanations for using everything in the home was exceptional. One of the best vacation stays we can remember in a long time.

If Cleanliness and Communication is your thing....

Cleanest property in which we have stayed - Even left a gratuity in appreciation for the condition of th property. Fully stocked kitchen although we didn't use the facility for eating. Property management team was very responsive to any needs. Instructions were simple and appropriate such as when to take out garbage.

Wonderful Time At Waters Edge

Waters Edge provided all the comforts of home. The views from both floors were remarkable wirh the bonus of watching the sunset from the living room and master bedroom. Location was central to our activities. Highly recommended this property!

EXACTLY as described - and better!

The house is beautiful and very spacious. The bedrooms are a good size and each has their own deck. The sunset views are fantastic! Easy to do business with, the property company was very responsive quickly and checked in on us periodically with inclement weather (Hurricane Debbie came closely)

Amazing place!

Not one complaint from us on this property! Clean, plenty of room, great view from one of several balconies, awesome location within walking distance to food, shopping, and carnival grounds, easy communication with property manager and no in person check in our out required! Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Great views, aging unit

The location can’t be beat. The views are incredible and we loved evenings and sunsets on the multiple decks overlooking the water. The unit itself is nice and includes the basics you would need. Washer and dryer is a great bonus for a beach trip. But the space itself is definitely aging and could use some attention, particularly the bathroom floors as well as the air vents and surrounding walls. I realize it’s near the water but the unit could really use an overall deep clean with special attention to the mold and mildew around a number of the air vents.

Little bit of Paradise

Perfect location to enjoy Chincoteague. Lovely multi level living space with balconies facing the water and gorgeous sunsets. Very attentive property managers…we had no issues, but appreciated the check-in’s. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful Location

Water’s Edge was just the place to unwind. Walking distance, 6 minutes, to our favorite restaurants. Bills Prime and Rope Walk. We sat back and watched the shore birds from our deck. The place was spotless on our arrival. Will definitely be back. Thankyou for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Very nice 4 nights

The property is clean and comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights in Feb 2024. Everything was in excellent working order. There is a nice view of the bay. It took a minute to figure out that each unit has it's own house number and that access is from the garage.

These floating houses are very clearly brand new installs. There's currently some construction still going on, as well as being about as unclean as you'd expect a marina construction site. The pictures are a stretch from the actual area. The realistic view you get from your floating house is a nice screened in porch that faces the opposite row of houses, only the 4 on the very end of the 4 rows and those on the other side of the property (which seem to be on land) have view of the ocean. The floating houses are cute and nice... for now. I can easily see them getting run down after many visitors and a few seasons of weather. The checkout expectations were entirely too demanding. I understand a lot of the cleaning duties falls onto the guest but sweeping **the outdoor porch** and doing all dishes is a hard no for me, at the very least there could be a cleaning deposit that'll either be returned or kept depending on if they want to do chores on their vacation. Overall, I think there's better places to stay on the island, we rented a Virbo home less than a mile away for the first half of our trip and it was much, much better. Otherwise perhaps wait a short while because I'd like to hope they get better as the construction finishes. Lastly, the people working there really the highlight of our stay. Above and beyond kind and went out of their way to help us a few times without us asking.
