Lots ants in kitchen and gnats throughout but terrible in kitchen. Staying for 9 days given 6 sets of towels. Firepit was very disappointing.

Communication was excellent. House was clean. Kitchen fairly well stocked. One bedroom door did not latch. No iron or ironing board as stated. If you are an unpacker bring hangers - only 3 per closet. Some things rusty Quiet location. Despite pony penning week, a bit overpriced. Close to almost everything. Trolley stop right there!!

We loved Chincoteague!

Great place for the price. 10/10 stay. Only small complaint is that the patio furniture, fridge, and radiators are older and have visible rust damage (but still work fine) and the floors were dirty when we arrived

Great family vacation

My family of 4 plus our two fur children stayed at lily pad! We had a great time and can’t wait to visit again. The location of the house was perfect for us and loved bike riding all over. Thank you for the memories.

Had a great time at the Lily Pad with family. House is pet friendly and is an older home, but met our needs for our first visit to Chincoteague Va. A beautiful place to visit, hubby is ready to move there he loved it so much.

Filthy property

Arrived late evening and unpacked and went to bed to wake up to wheezing and that odor of dog only to find out everything was covered in dog hair and dirt including the sheets , the floors , d sofas , kitchen and floors . It was absolutely disgusting. We also had no towels to get washed . Wasted that day and the next day after I requested the place to be cleaned which took the women over 4 hours to properly clean. Still haven’t heard back about any kind of refund since our trip was only Thur - Sunday and 2 days wasted . I have never had a bad experience on VRBO until now .

excellent place to stay

Excellent service from Property Management. Nice place in a quiet neighborhood. Nice view of the lighthouse. House is well equipped with almost anything you'd need. (except for large coffee mugs - which is a minor detail.) It would be cool in the summer and is very nice and cozy this almost winter-like weekend. Thank you very much.

Great place, but hard mattresses

We loved this place from the moment we arrived. The view of the lighthouse, across Assateague Channel, from the front yard, was perfect. The space, while listed as only 960 sqft, seemed larger. It was perfect for us - a retired couple, traveling mid-week in the off season. And the FireTV was great - we signed in to our own Prime Video and Netflix accounts, and watched the next episodes of our usual series. But then we went to make up one of the queen beds. Both of them were extremely hard. We chose the least-worst mattress, which had two mattress pads on it, but it didn't help. We had two nights of the worst sleeps in years. I know everyone has their own preference about mattresses, but these were definitely not for us.

Beautiful location

Comfortable home in the perfect location with Lighthouse views from the front yard. Every morning we were visited by whitetail deer. Just a short walk up the street and we were able to use our binoculars to see Beach Boys band on Lighthouse Beach. We enjoyed our stay at Lilly Pad and look forward to visiting again.

Cozy House

Great location on Chincoteague! We loved the cozy house, great space and amenities. Nice furnishings. Having the washer/dryer was very handy. One mattress was very uncomfortable and hard, and having a few extra blankets for the living room would be nice, but otherwise we were very comfortable there and would definitely stay again.

Nice little house

The house is small but great for couples or small family. Kitchen was well equipped. Close to everything. 5 minuets to the beach. Only thing I would change is the beds, they were hard as a board. But great stay. Thanks!

week stay at Lilypad

Nice spot to stay for 4 adults, any more would have been too crammed. 3 bedrooms but only one bathroom. Property has a charcoal grill- would have been nice to have known that prior to arrival. A lot of mosquitoes in the yard / outside the week we were there in July so did not get to spend much time outside on porch/ deck however it is a nice sized yard. Neighborhood is quiet. 10 min drive to the beach. Loved the hardwood floors and the best part was the hot water and water pressure of the shower! A/c functioned great. Could have been more updated but for a beach rental, it’s what one would expect. Communication and directions/instructions were very clear for check in / out process. Had a jon boat along - a little difficult to back into the driveway due to the narrow road but once in the driveway it fit 2 trucks and the boat. Wish we knew when trash night was. Overall had a nice stay!

Overall Good

We enjoyed all the space, great mattresses and air coditioning. However the bathroom needs lots of TLC. The linoleum flooring from the 70s has not aged well. The surround for the bathtub needs replacement. Holes in the door and walls from prior hooks etc. should be filled. Also, though we enjoyed the air conditioning, we would have liked to open windows. However the screens for 4 of the 8 windows in the house needed repair. We enjoyed our stay but considering the price we paid, the bathroom should have certainly been improved.
