The place was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. We really enjoyed looking at all the old encyclopedia type books, some dating back to 1861! The beds were great and we enjoyed the out door screened porch too. The kitchen needs pots and pans that are not chipped or gouged. The couch and love seat in the living room were so worn out they should be be replaced . The single chair was very comfortable. The shower worked, but we needed the plumber to come over to show us how the diverter works. You have to pull down the ring where the water at the end of the spout comes out to divert the water to the shower head. You should put that somewhere in the binder with all the house information. We loved how everyone in town was so friendly and welcoming.Would definitely stay there again if the house issues were resolved!Thanks for having us.

Overall, this was a great place to stay! Really nice house with a touch of older furniture which felt very nostalgic. Everything was amazing. The only issues were dirty/sandly floors upon arrival, and there was not a vacuum to clean this up, just a broom. The master bed was very hard and squeaky when moving around. Finally, I wanted to do laundry the night before leaving, but there was no laundry detergent next to the washing machine, so we couldn’t make use of the washer/dryer, and it was past business hours to ask an employee to help.

Sea Treasure

The location was great for the sightseeing we wanted to do. Nice quiet area. The house was decent, but definitely needs new living room furniture! When we sat down on the sofa, loveseat or recliner, we felt like we were sinking all the way down to the floor! Very difficult on our old knees to get back up ( we are a senior couple ). Kitchen was adequate but could have been better. Nice place if you are younger.

4 Adults for 4th of July Stay!

Sea Treasure was a convenient home for our family & guest who stayed the first week in July. We loved the location: Just 16mins drive from Assateague Beach (saw ponies as we left the beach daily), 6mins drive to Island Creamery for the best ice cream treats, 5mins drive to St. Andrew's Catholic Church, half-hr walk to Carnival Grounds for super fireworks, and short walks to a Convenience Store and to pass by Beebe Ranch (think: Misty). We used both bedrooms and the pull-out sofa couch in LR and found the Master BR to be especially large. Plenty of bedding, towels. We ate almost all meals on the large screened porch-- no bugs! Two things to note perhaps: The outdoor shower faces the road so good mainly for a quick rinse-off of sand. The kitchen had adequate dinnerware and just enough silverware. But we needed to improvise when a 13'x9" baking pan, cookie sheet (for pizza), and hot mitts were desired. Perhaps the owners will upgrade some appliances (toaster) for next season. :) Communication with the office was EXCELLENT before and during our visit. Which leads me to say we would recommend this rental and would stay here again!

Nice place

Our family enjoyed a 4 night stay at "Sea Treasure". Overall, the place looks more or less like the photos. The pictured carpets in the living room area and bedrooms have been replaced by laminate wood floors which is an improvement. The TV in the living room was pretty small for the size of the room and we couldn't figure out how to get it to work. We ended up plugging in our own device to watch Netflix which streamed well on the free Wifi. The screened in porch area was nice. However, the table and chairs were not as pictured and were very dirty, so they needed to be thoroughly wiped down prior to use. Also, my son stepped on a rusty screw that was left on the porch floor, so that was not fun. The beds were okay, but not super comfortable. Fine for the kids and young adults, but less than ideal for others. Also, despite the description of the property promising an outdoor shower when we found out that it was broken and told the property manager they told us that it was actually the neighbor's shower and we weren't allowed to use it anyway. They apologized for the inaccurate description on this website. Overall, while some things could be improved, our stay was enjoyable and met expectations at this price point.

We had a great time, the half house was clean when we arrived and the rental agency was outstanding. The only con was that some of the furniture needs updated but it didn't change the fun we had. kayaking down the street was fun and watching the fireworks was great.
