Great Time on Marsh Island!

This property is fantastic! There was plenty of room for 5 adults and we loved the location on the channel. We cooked all of our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. I would stay here again.

Beautiful home

The home is beautiful! We spent many hours on the decks enjoying the amazing views and lingering over dinner around the fire table. I would definitely recommend a stay here and would book this property again.

Great Townhouse in Prime Location

Fantastic location! Everything as advertised, newer townhome with tasteful decor. Clean and bonus inclusion of towels and linens. Very spacious and didn’t feel cramped. Ample parking. Prime location.

Nice home, good location

We had a great stay at this property on Marsh Island Good location, only 7 mins to the beach and 5 mins to Main Street. Very good view of the the small town Chincoteague over the water. We will definitely book again

Flights & Views

Overall check in went well; however, later that evening we returned from dinner to discover someone had entered the unit leaving evidence of their presence. We were frightened & disturbed by the unknown entry that no one could explain. We believe the checkin code WAS NOT changed from previous/renters. There is much more to this incident, but I’m thankful to say we stayed and enjoyed family time in this beautiful unit. The property manager/staff responded quickly to the incident detailed above and other concerns that came up during our stay; they were friendly and professional. The views from the unit are amazing; the 3 flights of stairs were unexpected - they may have been noted- I don’t recall, but my husband and mother tackled them like rock stars. The pictures are on point and showcase the unit accurately. Our first visit to Chincoteague; we will return , not to this property bc of stairs, if you’re good with the flight of stairs which meet you at entry and take you up to the main floor and the bedrooms two more flights up , this place is lovely.

Great views & good location

Chincoteague island was lovely and the townhouse was close to everything while still very quiet. There were some fruit flies when we first arrived but other than that our stay was great and the views of the water were amazing.

Excellent property and location

Our week long stay in Chincoteague was absolutely perfect and I am so glad we stayed here. The house was wonderful - well equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining area and the views were outstanding. We are looking for our dates for next year!

Quiet and serene

Very peaceful place to just relax. The only thing to be mindful of is the included linens. The listing doesn't mention it is only one towel per person, which isn't enough when you go with kids. Other than that it was an awesome place.

Awesome property and location

The property is well furnished and immaculate. The kitchen is equipped with all the gadgets to please all. The view is amazing from all sides of the house. The location is simply awesome. We highly recommend this property.

Awesome property in a great location

The property was very clean, well furnished and extremely well kept. We could not have asked for anything more. We were hesitant to book this property as last year we had stayed in Virginia Beach at a rental and it was awful. We are so pleased we made this choice and are planning to return.

Refuge from Hurricane Ian

A rainy weekend. However, we made the best of it. We explored Chincoteaque Island and walked the Pony trail before leaving for home. We brought plenty of reading, played games that were in the house and caught up on much needed sleep during the height of the storm. Saturday was the best weather day for exploring and we found our way to Ocean City and Berlin, MD. The house was warm and quiet. Beds were comfortable and we had enough room to spread out. One comment by our daughter is for a chair in the room with the bunk beds. She is an avid reader and would have welcomed a cozy chair. Highly recommend for a recharging weekend.

At waters edge

Best location with easy access to village of Chincoteague. Birds, boats, dolphins all cruise by the townhouse on its own little island. Great amenities in home with a deck that has a propane fire pit on a table. Your own laundry to take home clean clothes great interior very comfortable. 3 levels so 3 sets of staircases . Dock access right on channel for a small boat. Don’t kayak here channel is very swift if it’s not slack tide. Great sunrises in morning you want to see an amazing sunset take a walk up to bridge at sunset or go into town and take in sunset from park or one of the rope walk. Would I book again absolutely!!!!!!!

Perfect for our first vacation as a blended family!

For our first vacation as a blended family with 5 kids, At the Water's Edge was great for us! 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms...plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space when they needed it. Kids ages 7-16 had a great time riding bike, fishing, and exploring around the dock at low tide. A quick drive to the grocery store was convenient to stock up on drinks and snacks!
