Very mixed on review, but after considering all factors we went with a poor rating. First off, we were not given the door entry code for arrival which caused us to wait outside until response from the owner. Games in the house were incomplete and in poor condition to include the pool table and foosball table. Floor in the pool table room was very uneven and bubbling, which caused it to crack. Water pressure in basement bathroom was really low. The only positive was the house location. Owner was flexible with extending stay.

This property was close to the Great Lakes Naval Base which was convenient for our son’s graduation from bootcamp. There was lots of space to relax and enjoy time with family. It was close to shopping and restaurants but we loved having a full kitchen to cook our own meals. It was a clean and comfortable place. They are pet friendly so it was nice being able to bring them along. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house was amazing and the host was quick to respond with helpful information. It had everything you would need to prepare meals, bathroom supplies and to do laundry. All of the beds are comfortable. Nice big open spaces and plenty of furniture for a large family. It was a quick drive to the base for graduation.

Had a great stay at this location. Very conveniently located near the Navy base for our son's graduation. House was clean. Loved the large backyard and the zip line! Lots of other games to choose from. Property owner was very responsive to any need or question we had. Highly recommend.

Great Place for Family Gatherings

We had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and well appointed for a large group (there was ten of us). Plenty of towels and dishes. All the cabinets and drawers were labeled which was so helpful! The host was very quick in responding.

We rented the party for 2 days for a navy boot camp graduation. It was perfect for the all of us staying for a few days. Everything you could want or need was nearby and the house has great entertainment!

Wonderful Stay for Navy Graduation – Spacious, Clean, and Thoughtful Touches

This home was perfect for our stay! It was clean, spacious, and comfortably accommodated my family of nine (three couples, plus an 18-year-old, a 10-year-old, and an 11-year-old). It served us wonderfully during my son’s Navy boot camp graduation. The location, conveniently close to the base, was a major advantage, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful details such as bath and kitchen essentials, plenty of towels, and the clear labeling throughout the home. The backyard was a favorite for my kids, with its swing and zip line, while the game room featuring a pool table and foosball, along with the bunk bed room, kept everyone entertained. The Navy-themed decor, including flags, a banner, and the snacks, added a personal and meaningful touch to our stay. One of the highlights for me was the large dining table, which allowed us to enjoy meals together as a family—a priority for this trip. We would absolutely book this home again if we’re in the area and highly recommend it to anyone attending a loved one’s Navy graduation!

This is the most well-stocked vrbo we have stayed at. There were plenty ot towels, k-cups, etc and everything was well labeled. Our boys enjoyed fishing in the river.
