First, this place has lots of potential in that it’s pretty, spacious and has many higher end furnishing upgrades. First problem was BARELY clearing the entrance in our minivan (scraped mirror!) & being too long for parking place. Would have had to buy a spot in the neighborhood, which was sketch. Since we were scared to try to clear the entry again, we walked to a pizza joint. It was a scary, unpleasant walk. Got pizza to go and called uber bc scared to walk back. After returning, the back glass door literally fell off the top hinges when we opened it. Every other plate/utinsil we grabbed in kitchen was filthy. Then we saw dried blood on the rollaway mattress, the couch and the carpet, long black hair on a kitchen chair, pee-looking stain on LR chair, more dried blood on sheets, white stuff on comforters. After all this, we decided to leave (11 pm). To their credit, they responded quickly and already provided a full refund. So,owners were understanding and gracious but what a terrible start to our vacay! Somehow we found another place to stay but since we were last minute and most places were sold out, we paid way more for than planned, had to use 2 hotels, throw groceries away. Recommends: deep, deep, deep clean, incl all bedding & kitchen cabinet items, replace stained items, clearly disclose size of entry/parking, disclose type of neighborhood and charge less due to location. Also, upgrade LR furniture (extremely uncomfortable), provide more bath/kitchen towels.
