A beautiful, spacious place in a quiet, safe neighborhood, close to the CTA, restaurants and shops. It’s so difficult to find a rental in Chicago with enough beds but this is the perfect place to come together with family and friends. The hosts are incredibly responsive and helpful before and throughout the stay. I highly recommend Magic Factory Lofts to anyone coming to visit the city with a large group.

Perfect place for our large group stay. Great proximity to whatever you want to do in Chicago, while giving you the peace and quiet of a local neighborhood. Hosts made every step of the way super easy. They were thoughtful and communicative. I could not recommend this place enough.

We stayed at this property four nights with eight people. The place was clean and spacious and check in was easy. Adrian greeted us, provided a tour, and made sure everything was working and met our expectations. Carole did an excellent job of communicating with us and sending information on where to eat, buy groceries or to relax and have fun. All of these sites were within an easy walk. The property is in an excellent location with great security and as stated in previous reviews, is even nicer than depicted in photos. It was truly a great place to hang out and do day trips. I have been staying in VRBOs for over 10 years and would not hesitate to rent this property again or recommend it to my family and friends. If you are visiting Chicago look no further than here. Carole is a great hostess; the apartment is awesome and has everything you need to ensure a relaxing good time. Definitely worth 5 stars!

Perfect for Team Travel

Our high school sailing team stayed here during a regatta. It was perfect - good space, well appointed kitchen, and enough beds and rooms for all. We will definitely stay here again next time we travel to Chicago. LOVED the app that answered ALL our questions while we were there, made things very seamless. Thank you!

Chicago Family Weekend

Our stay at this property was fabulous! From the day of booking alto the day we checked out - the communication from/with Carole and Basil was the best we have ever experienced with any other property we have booked (of which there have been many) was off the charts. Their attention to ensuring we have a seamless experience from airport arrival to check out - not a beat was missed. What was just amazing was their personal app for the property that was shared - that included things like how to get to their property from every airport, how to access any sort of transportation to and from airport, downtown anywhere - as well as providing insight into area hit spots, restaurants, shopping, - you name it - they provided it! The property itself was immaculate! The loft space was perfect for the 6 of us staying with so much more space available for a bought party. In fact there were 5 unused beds between all four bedrooms! The 3 full bathrooms were immaculate and modern. The open floor plan of the kitchen was so roomy with high end appliances (all functional and clean), a table for 10 guests and comfortable couches to relax! My husband and I both felt that this property was a place we could definitely see ourselves staying for long term if needed - and that’s saying something. We all slept great - the rooms are. Dark and the ends comfortable! I have already shared the property with friends planning upcoming trips and will never stay anywhere else when in town!

Big Hit for Boys Bears Weekend!!!

We had an amazing stay here! We were 14 guys in our mid-50's in town for a long-weekend capped off by a Bears game. Everyone got their own bed, loved being in the space together, and found the location to be ideal, with tons of restaurants, bars, and shopping nearby. Jogging down to the lake and back - about a 3.0 mile loop was a favorite among the group. No regrets - would love to come back and do it all again. Carole was a delight to deal with.

Perfect setting for Chicago fun!

We are a group of friends in town for a wedding. Carole and Basil’s home was the perfect setting for us to gather and have some fun in the city. Home away from Home

This is a wonderful property that was a prefect setting for a friends' get away. It is wonderfully located near downtown in the Lincoln Park area and was close to restaurants and stores. Carole, Basil and Adrian made check in and check out easy and were always just a call away. The space was so inviting we stayed in for dinner on 2 nights and cooked. It was a great trip for us in a memorable setting.

We loved the area and the condo was clean, modern and spacious. We had some noise from upstairs condo, but the owners addressed our concerns. This condo has restaurants, bars and shopping all in walking distance.

Family Reunion for Memorial

My four siblings and their families transcended on Chicago - 12 total - to attend a multi-memorial event. This was a PERFECT place - comfort, size and location - to have the entire family under one roof. Even though we came together for solemn event, the accommodations made it a memorable and joyous occasion as we were able to gather together to remember our aunts and uncle who are now no longer with us

Fantastic experience

Spent the weekend in Chicago to attend a Cubs game and sight see. the property is in a great location with a large meeting area perfect for my group of 10. Hosts we're attentive and responded quickly if needed. property is clean, in a secured building with we felt was a plus. We would definitely book again in the future and highly recommend this spot if you have a large group.

Good location and good times

We stayed here for lollapalooza and we’re pleased with the Vrbo. The location is fantastic and the management team was nice. My group was a bit loud the last night but the management team handled it quite well in being respectful of both my group and the others who complained. I’d recommend this place

AWESOME Walkable Location!

We loved how walkable the area was and how secure our loft felt. TONS of beds and extras with the trundles underneath. Pictures don’t do the space justice, honestly. Perfect for a low-key bachelorette party (a group of 14). Basil is kind and a quick communicator.

In Chicago for Taylor Swift

We had a group of 10 in Chicago for the Taylor Swift concert. The loft is really nice and clean. Very spacious. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. It's close to train and bus stops, but also close enough to popular spots that the cost of an Uber was reasonable, especially for a group our size. The owners were flexible with our check-in and check-out times, they even held our bags after check-out so we could continue to explore the city before our train out of town. Even before arriving, they sent an email with instructions, that also included helpful information about what restaurants and stores were close by. All in all, it was a good experience.

Excellent long weekend stay in Chicago

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay. The space was large, well maintained, and provided a great base to visit Chicago for a long weekend.
