We had a great stay with the family for Christmas. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and the kitchen/eating/living room areas where large and roomy. The location was ideal and within walking distance of many things. The host was great and we communicated frequently leading up to the stay and she even met us there when we checked in to show us around. Highly recommended.

We had 20 people. The space was ideal for our large group. Plenty of space, comfortable, nice kitchen facilities. Great location- easy to get to the L, close to Second City, Chicago History Museum and bars and restaurants. Owner could not have been more helpful and kind. Parking in garage was great.

This is a fantastic place in a great location. Lots to walk to and see in the area. Walking to Lake Michigan a big draw. We had a large group and there was great space for all of us. Supplies offered were the absolute best! Great to have the lower level space for overflow or to offer some separate spaces if needed. The benefit of the 2 car garage access is a must if you’re using a car. So helpful.

Wonderful stay!

Everything was great for our stay! Inna very graciously came over and gave us a tour of the house, and some suggestions of things to check out in the city. The house was exactly as presented in the photos. It was clean and had everything we needed, it was really like a home away from home. We will definitely look to book this property again next time we come back to Chicago!

Bachelorette party

We absolutely LOVED the house and staying in Old Towne and the responsiveness of Inna. She left a thoughtful note with cookies and called to check in with us when we arrived as well. it was perfect space for our 13 in total for all to have beds and plenty of bathrooms and the perfect downstairs area for the Moms to be together yet separate from the group. Many thanks! We will be back.

Bachelor Party Stay

Great place in Old Town! The place was able to accommodate our large group for the weekend. I will say, it says it can fit 22 but was a bit tight with our 20. At groups of that size, a few people will be sleeping on the futons and mattress pads that are provided. The listing was totally transparent about this but wanted to highlight! Overall, communication between the host was great and I would recommend this house to any larger groups looking to stay in the city.

Worked great for 10 adults. Convenient to walk to restaurants, entertainment, stores. Neighborhood seemed very safe. Train is close by but we got used to the sound.

Great Place for a larger group!

The space was perfect for multiple families who want to stay in a great neighborhood, close to the train, shopping, restaurants bars and more. Worked out perfectly for a few friends and their kids with plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out. Even had 2 spaces for cars in a garage!

Host unfriendly

The home was hot we could not get air to work even after speaking with host still didn’t work. Toilet overflowed in basement bathroom 2x and upon arrival I texted host about checking in early she told me I had paid for the option already. So my group proceeded and was met at the home with cleaners. Called host and then I realized I didn’t purchase early check in. She was very nasty stating “you know you didn’t pay for it” which honestly I didn’t know if I chose the option or not while reserving the property. So I just felt like she could have had better customer service while speaking with guests who reserved the property. Overall the home was ok. Parking is terrible especially for large groups. The garage is tiny so 2 SUV’s can’t fit and in the description it speaks of a 3 parking space but our 3rd SUV was too wide and was still in the street (alley) because it was very narrow.

Fun Chicago stay

We traveled to Chicago for a 3 day visit - this house was in a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to several coffee shops and diners. The house fit our family well and was warm and cozy.

Great House in Great Neighborhood but make sure the rules fit your group

We rented this house so that two families could stay for the weekend in Chicago to celebrate our kids engagement. The house is great, it's pet friendly, it's in a great location, the garage is very useful for parking cars, etc. However, you really, really need to read the owner's rules. If you read the listing's first part "great place for your friends and family gathering",

Great Location and nice place

The location is awesome for families and includes two garages parking spots. If you have a larger vehicle it may not fit but I was able to fit a Buick 7 passenger and a minivan. Tight squeeze but it worked. Old Town is great. Very close to attractions but we did drive or uber to magnificent mile since the group was cold. We did walk to the zoo which wasn’t too bad. Lots of great food very close to the house. Old Jerusalem Restaurant Is a must. Awesome Lebanese food (I’m Lebanese so I know). Great trip.
