Little Gem

We visit at least three baseball parks, each summer, as we are trying to complete the baseball stadium circuit. On our way to a game in Atlanta, we thought we’d spend a couple of days in the mountains. So many have recommended the Blue Ridge/Ellijay area. The cabin is located in Cherry Log, right between both. We felt we were isolated in nature, yet so close to everything we ever needed. The cabin is quaint, clean, and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the front porch in rocking chairs, looking out at the mountains! We enjoyed it so much we intend to return!

Our Most Perfect Stay Ever

We parked our van in a nice gravel driveway, and had our first glimpse of the cabin where we were to spend the next 4 nights. The lock box was in an unusual place, so I called the host. A very friendly gentleman answered immediately and told us where it was, and told us to call if we needed anything. He and his wife apparently live close by. Well, we didn’t need anything else because everything in this beautiful, cozy cabin worked and the hosts had gone out of their way to supply the things their guests might need. And the cabin itself is So clean, comfortable, homey, with many windows looking out at the forests and mountains. We hardly felt like going anywhere.

Perfect for couples!!!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful!! Just right for 2 people. My wife and I stayed here for 4 days and loved every minute of it. The host and hostess are wo derful!! The cabin is equipped with everything you need if you forgotten something no worries it is here!!!

Cozy mountain cabin

Before going my husband and I encountered a problem but the owner, Paul Cucinella, helped to quickly resolve it. We are so thankful. From the moment we entered the cabin we felt welcomed…like we were home. One wouldn’t think of a one bedroom cabin as feeling non-claustrophobic, but this little gem feels so roomy!Our host/hostess thought of EVERYTHING a guest might need(i.g. headache meds, coffees, books to read, games, etc). If you remember to bring those things please do….but IF you forget they’ve got you covered. A nice touch is the owners live close and make themselves readily available. They are not intrusive though. We had the privilege of meeting Paul as we were leaving. It was easy to see how the cabin reflected him and his wife’s personality. We will definitely rent their properties again. They have ones with more rooms also!

Great mountain getaway

My wife and I had a wonderful 3 night stay in this lovely little cabin in the mountains. Cabin was perfect, view from the front porch was great and closeness to everything we desired was very good. We look forward to returning to this place in the near future.

PERFECT LITTLE CABIN!!!!

We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. This little cabin could not have been MORE perfect!!!! Location is secluded BUT still close to so many different areas. We visited Blue Ridge. Found a small local place in Ellijay to watch our TN Vols play on Saturday afternoon (everyone was very gracious LOL). Dahlonega was 35-45 minute drive and we visited there on Saturday night. Back to the cabin though, VERY, VERY clean and neat (which is the most important thing to me). It had everything we needed and was just the cutest place. We loved the layout. They had all the basics you may need. They even had the fridge stocked with several bottled waters which was great b/c we forgot to get some. This is a perfect little spot for a couple's get away. We will definitely book again if we are ever staying in the area again. We did not meet the hosts (who apparently live very close by) but check in was a breeze as well. On a scale from 1 - 10, I give this cabin a 20!
