Perfect

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner wanted to know what was bringing us to the area. We told her hiking and riding the motorcycle. We arrived to find the property nice and clean and noticed trail mix and bread was put on the table by the owner for energy and snacks while hiking. The owners are great will definitely stay again if available.

Great place and fantastic hosts

This was our first time using VRBO for a long stay somewhere. The hosts Stacey and Randy were fantastic. The place was very clean. They provided assistance on places to go and where to eat. We were there for a Bible Conference at the lake and the location was perfect. We will be staying there again….Highly recommend….

Comfy, convenient and cheerful!

My husband and I enjoyed 5 nights/4 days here, feeling at home immediately! The hosts Stacy and Randy were as hospitable as can be and were very welcoming and helpful. We hope to return one day!

Owl Lakehouse

The hosts were helpful & nice. The downstairs apartment was clean & nicely furnished with accenting owl theme. The only negative was the apartment area is the downstairs of the house and the bedrooms smelled musty. It seemed there were many dehumidifiers placed in the areas... Overall it met our short term needs.

Clean apartment near Lake Junaluska

Clean little apartment in a great location near Lake Junaluska. Stacey was very attentive and always replied promptly to our questions. Looking forward to another fall foliage, leaf peaking trip next year. Lake Junaluska is a wonderful area to stay , so close to the sweet little town of Waynesville. We'll be back!

A real vacation!

We visited here from Colorado. When we visit a new area and stay at a hotel we tend to power tour. We get up and go non-stop, because hanging out in a hotel room is just not relaxing. But then we end up exhausted. Staying here was a vacation! At the end of a hiking in the Smoky Mountains we relaxed in the hot tub, with a fire in the fire pit. A couple of mornings we enjoyed our coffee on the swing by a fire in the firepit. There were books, games, and roomy couches for an evening in. The beds were comfy with nice sheets. There was a washer/dryer so we could throw in a load of laundry -- so convenient! And the location was perfect, close to the mountains, Maggie Valley, cute Waynesville, The Biltmore, Asheville.... Before we arrived, Stacy & Randy called to introduce themselves, and let us know of places to go, places to eat, hikes & waterfalls they liked, where to see a beautiful sunset. They checked in with us during our stay to make sure all was well, and to answer any questions. We were celebrating our anniversary and when we arrived there was a balloon, a bottle of wine, and a tin of cookies. When we left they gave us some GF banana bread and a GF cookie for the flight home! Wow! Just like visiting Mom! They have 2 other properties, for larger groups, one in the mountains perfect for stargazing. We are so glad we chose this place!

Great Mountain Getaway

This was a fantastic space for our family of four as a mountain retreat. It was very clean and homey - it had everything you would need, and the hot tub was great. Stacy and Randy were so friendly and hospitable, and gave us lots of information about local activities. And the family pass to Lake Junaluska was perfect for us - we loved swimming and kayaking. Thanks for helping to make it a great vacation!

This was a perfect location to visit Lake Junaluska and Waynesville, which are both very close. Cherokee, Maggie Valley, and Asheville are all within a 1/2 hour drive. But the best part was having a comfortable, quiet, beautiful place to just hang out when we didn’t want to go anywhere. We had an online conference we were required to attend, and the internet connection was perfect. I also enjoyed watching some cable TV channels I don’t have at home. Overall, it was the perfect place for us.

Perfect vacation spot!

Our stay was incredible. The hosts were extremely hospitable, the space was very well kept, inviting, and had everything we needed. The location was absolutely breath-taking! And just as the hosts said, there was so much to do, see, and visit around that we would not have enough time to get to experience everything. I definitely want to come back to this space in the future!

Great place to stay

We had 4 from 2 1/2 to 75. It was a perfect place to stay. Very comfortable lots of games even for toddlers. Host very friendly and helpful. Central to Asheville, hiking, rafting and biking and not too far 1 1/2 hours to Dollywood. Great vacation. Will be back.❤️

Relaxing stay in the Mtns

What a wonderful apartment to stay in Lake Junaluska. The kitchen was fully stocked for any cooking you may want to do. Easy access to the United Methodist church facilities at the lake. Lots of games provided to play in the evening. The owners were very easy to communicate with prior to arrival. We would stay again, even if we were not involved at the conference center.

“Owl” vacation was a hoot!!!

Great rental property. We found the house to be very clean, fully stocked and exactly what we needed for this trip. The owners were fantastic to work with and everything that was mentioned in the listing was true. We loved the “owl” themed home and had a great week there. The hot tub was an added bonus for us.
