Communication with property management was outstanding and their response was prompt to any requests even after 5pm. The property was exactly as advertised. It was clean, the kitchen was nicely stocked with all we needed, and home was well appointed with comfortable furniture both inside and out. The only negative is we couldn't stay longer. We can't wait to go back next year.

Great Home in a Beautiful Neighborhood

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: PROS: house is modern, cozy, very clean. Location is perfect and neighborhood is beautiful. Loved the neighborhood lake access!! We visited during our wedding week...CONS: Check in is at 4pm but the office closes at 5pm. At 4pm, our check-in code didn't work. Called the office and they opened the door from their system, and had to change the code for us. We spent 45 minutes unpacking and organizing wedding stuff, and finally tried our new code. It didn't work. We barely had enough time to go to the office to see what was wrong. They ended up changing the code again. We went back to the house and it STILL did not work. Now it's after 5pm so we had to call the after-hours # to come over and help. Then we wondered why it was so hot in the house...found out the AC was not working and the entire week was between 100-107 degrees. Had to call after-hours # AGAIN, they brought us portable ACs and a fan. This is listed as a 10-person home, but that evening we discovered we only had 3 bath towels and 2 pool towels (listing says 12 pool towels will be stocked). Had to make a trip to the office again in the morning to pick up the ~20 extra towels that should have been there. I would not recommend staying here with 10 people. One of the rooms shown as a sleeping space is actually an open living area. Parking...overflow lot is not in walking distance. Don't assume you can park in the spots where the pictures show cars by the garage. The area above the garage is not part of the rental.

It was a bit warm upstairs the first night, but maintenance was quick to fix A/C and refill our BBQ's propane tank.

Reel-axing!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed a week with two little ones, had a blast. The proximity to the hilltop pool was excellent and just a short walk to the other one. Loved the porch to hang out on, the fireplace for s'mores, the little extras in the house like stepping stools for the kiddos. The furniture was comfortable. The staff was AMAZING! Really top notch from Jasmine who always answered the phone so professionally to the beach shuttle valet who were very nice. If I had to give any constructive feedback on the house, I'd recommend correctly anchoring all artwork, they kept falling off due to the nails. Also look into upgrading the dishwasher in the next phase of investment. The coffee was way past expired so perhaps just a quick review on food inventory. Overall it was fantastic, loved the community, will be back!

Cozy and convenient

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were 4 adults here for a birthday weekend and it was a great spot! Close walk to the water, lots of amenities at Lookout, all the comforts of home (toiletries and pantry items too). Be prepared though, if you bring kids that plan to utilize the garage with sports games to play because the dart board didn’t have darts for the board, pop-a-shot had only one ball, air hockey (pucks were found in the trash can) and the flip able table seemed to only flip to pool but no sticks or balls. Disappointing but the porch and house were lovely.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of Reel Good Times was perfect! Close to the pool and the lake, we could set up our cornhole game in the side yard. The Lookout itself was very family friendly and convenient. The inside of the house had everything we needed. The bun room was perfect for our 4 kids (12, 13, 14, 15). The game room was fun for them, but barely used because we played at the lake most days. The only downside for us was inviting family over for a bbq and there was no propane in the tank. Not a huge deal, but a bit of a bummer. Overall, we loved all the lookout had to offer!

Great times

We had an amazing time. First time to the lookout. Plenty of room for the seven of us. The beds were super comfortable. Great stocked kitchen. It would be nice to have one large non stick pan for two families. We couldn’t find the cushions for the outdoor furniture. Our girls enjoyed the heated pool very much. We also enjoyed walking the neighborhood and getting a coffee/latte by the pool. Only two things…1. the house was super warm. Everyone slept with windows open because it got so hot at night. 2. Every time we opened the oven door the fire alarms would go off and there was no smoke and the oven was totally clean. Other than those two things it was absolutely perfect. Clean and comfortable. Thank you so much. We made some wonderful memories.

Game room was not available

The online listing mentions a game room with foosball table and my kids were looking forward to play. It turns out it is locked and we don’t have the key. I called the guest office and I am told that the listing must be old. It is misleading and disappointing.

Amazing house and community

My group of friends had an amazing Labor Day weekend at Reel Good Times. Originally had an issue with one of the shower drains, but it was quickly fixed within the day while we were in town. Being able to rent a boat directly at the community marina and the shuttle service back up the hill were great!

wonderful place

This was a wonderful place and we were surprised at how much of the local activities in the complex that we actually engaged: pool, ice cream, waterfront, country music show. We had 9 people in our party and it was just right. Tv was a bit confusing to use and there was no obvious way to play your own music in the house, e.g. bluetooth or Sonos. Would definitely stay here again!!

Fun Family Getaway!

We played a lot in the conveniently located pools and there was always a lounge chair available to recline and relax. The lake was a fun place to use our paddle boards and kayaks plus we all really appreciated the transportation available to get to and from the lake. The home was clean, modern and cozy and all our needs were provided for.

We would love to come back in the slate summer when the lake is high enough and warm enough to swim in the beautiful swimming hole! However the pool was amazing. Looking forward to the day there are more anmeneties like what seabrook has! We also can’t wait to stay again and bring our boat!

It fit 6 of us very comfortably with a fully equipped kitchen for cooking and essential ingredients like seasonings, which we greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the basketball game, ping pong table and cornhole games. We did not have kids with us, but this would be a great house for kids with the bunk beds, lots of games and access to bikes. It was extremely clean and welcoming. The details added make it really feel like a home at the lake. The ONLY con was the bunk beds are very firm and several of us did not sleep very well. Aside from that, such a fantastic house, we will definitely be back!
