Great view better dock.
Property is great. The weather was a bit smokey but that didn't stop the fish from biting. Fished all day and relaxed in the evening with a great view. Property is tight for a 18ft fishing boat. Plan on unhooking the boat and muscling it 180 degrees and rehooking to the truck.

Listing says boat parking, there’s not
Listing says boat parking, theres a vehicle with a tarp in the “boat parking” so we has to back our boat down a steep, curvy 80 yard driveway to get it down.. and in order to turn around we has to drive all over the neighbors property. 106 degree weather and no AC

5 Nights at Lake Chelan
This is a wonderful place to feel like you are in the wilderness yet a close 35 min drive from civilization. Very peaceful and quiet toward the NW end of the lake away from the crowds in the SE near the village of Chelan. No car noise and often wouldn't see or hear a boat for several hours. Stunning 180 degree view of the crystal clear blue lake and mountains. Lots of birds to watch. Cabin has a rustic charm, but has modern conveniences and is will appointed.

WONDERFUL, very private and relaxing cabin!
While a little bit hard to find at the point of contact, it was WELL worth it when we got there! What a secluded, lovely little gem! It was the most quiet, peaceful and relaxing place we have ever been and highly recommend it! Just the cutest little place with everything you need to have a relaxing vacation! Reminder that it is a good 35 min back to Chelan, so we recommend taking what all you need and just planting yourself there for the duration! Can't wait to come back!

Birthday celebration.
The paved road ended at a forest service residence. We had to turn off of the paved road onto a gravel and dirt road with a different name than what was listed on the directions, it was very confusing. We spoke to a neighbor near the cabin who explained that the addresses had changed recently, so that explained the situation. I texted the contact I had through the booking prior to our departure and specifically asked about the paved road, as we were traveling by motorcycle, and they assured me that the road was paved to the cabin. After the initial confusion we got settled in and had a wonderful time. The cleanliness was not what we expected but made due, as we understand, the remoteness may cause difficulties. Overall we would recommend this cabin to others who are looking for beautiful view and the remote experience.

Perfect Getaway
Highly recommended for those who want to take a break from the city and experience the 70s life (no cell and TV). This cabin is in a very quiet and secluded part of Lake Chelan. Just 25 minutes from Chelan, WA where you can get your supply from Walmart Supercenter or Safeway. It has a fully functional kitchen; all you need to bring is your grocery. Bathroom is nice and clean and has towels provided for. You can fish, swim and kayak in the lake below the cabin.

Amazing Location, Cute Cabin
Loved the time away--much needed! The cabin was unique and on bluff above water--beautiful view of the lake! Bring binoculars! The location provided isolation and privacy. Probably not a great place for kids due to drop off to lake and challenging path down to swim dock. Disappointed in cleanliness of cabin and property--something to take more seriously during this Covid Year. Did have my own disinfectant wipes which I had to use on kitchen immediately. If you are a 'real' cook, which my husband is, consider bringing your favorite pans/utensils. Although kitchen is well-stocked, things are of poor quality and old. The cupboard is a little creepy as lots of leftover dry goods from previous guests. All said, we had a very restful 4 nights there!

place to unplug
We had a wonderful time at this quaint little cabin. It was clean and simple. The dock is a great place to hang out. We fished down there and caught over 10 fish, mainly lake trout using hot dogs. Yes... hot dogs. The location is very private and quite. We loved this place.

Beware of neighborhood dogs
Amazing view of the lake. Very nice and peaceful location. Access to the lake is very tough and was not possible for my kids which was disappointing. Lake level was also lower than expected so we were not able to swim or paddle board. The description could probably do a better job of warning of these two issues. Also, our car was attacked by two big dogs as we drove into the neighborhood. They were off leash and ran into the gravel road. Have no idea what would have happened if we weren’t in the car. Needless to say we didn’t feel comfortable walking/biking from the cabin as you have to pass that house and the dogs were never tied up. All in all a good stay but with some fairly big disappointments.

Beautiful lake Chelan views.
Excellent unobstructed views of lake Chelan with the best fishing spot and private dock. Property was as described in listing and even had some updates/improvements. Would definitely stay here again.

We never stayed at the property.it was not what they portrayed at all The main premise to stay was a private dock, Though it was there was no SAFE access AT all to private dock Not risking our lives for that.We called Vacasa and told them day we arrived we would not be paying or staying Visa was contacted as well

Deep water cabin
Very relaxing and quiet place. Gorgeous views!!!! We wish the cabin could be cleaner between the rentals and having WiFi or cable.

Thoughtfully designed cabin
Someone spent an inordinate amount of effort, both physical and mental creating an incredibly pleasing and enjoyable place to while away the hours. The cabin, backs into the hill, complete with a sod roof, so as not to cause commotion with the pristine site. Swear, you can't hear any traffic noise, except perhaps the patter of a chipmunk. At night, a dark sky with pads provided for lying on the patio and contemplating the cosmos. The kitchen is fine for pretty much anything you might want to invent and I cook! A small, but thoughtful library, good binoculars, nice walking stick, fishing rod, great neighbors to visit with, wow this place is a total find. If you follow Rick Steve's "Off the Beaten Path" philosophy and can make your own happy music you will be dancing a jig here.

The place is overall nice but more like glamping...
Cons: With the weather nearing 100, it would have been nice if the home had screens on all the windows. Especially because of all the bees outside and no AC inside. FYI, the website says the key pad is above the electric meter. There is one there but it doesn't open to give you the key (panic moment since you are 20 minutes away from any cell coverage!). Fortunately I saw there was a second key pad by the front door. The pros : comfortable bed, lots of towels, fully stocked kitchen and a beautiful view!

Peaceful, secluded, perfection
We came here for our 2 year anniversary to get away from the city and our busy hectic work lives. This was our first vacation with each other and let me just say it was PERFRCT. When we pulled up our jaws dropped to the ground at how astounding the view was from the cabin. There was a patio off to the right side with chairs and a table which is where we enjoyed every single one of our meals during our 2 day stay. The cabin was fully stocked with all the kitchen utensils, pots, pans and electric appliances that we needed for cooking. The mattes was super comfy and I guarantee you we slept like babies both nights. Speaking of nights, because we were so far off from any city lights the views of the stars were astonishing! We laid out on the patio chairs our last night and saw a ton of shooting stars!! It is a little bit of a hike to get down to the lake dock but I was very impressed with the way the structured the rocks so that it made steps, very creative!! The bathroom is a great size but had a few issues. The shower door leaked pretty severely and the washing machine was broken which was disappointing. We also had an issues with some pests in the cabin but nothing a shoe or some bug killer couldn’t fix. Overall we are SOOOO happy with this cabin and couldn’t have found a better place to spend our anniversary weekend in! We will definitely be back! Thank you Vacasa for this amazing location!! 😍

Beautiful setting
Such a lovely escape. Very private and the views can't be beat. We caught trout from the dock and enjoyed the peaceful setting. Also, we launched our inflatable raft and paddled around the many picturesque coves nearby. You definitely feel off the grid with no Wi-Fi, tv, or phone reception. It was exactly what we didn't know we needed!

Some troublesome fruit flies, deep cleaning needed and path to dock way to steep to be able to enjoy however all that being said this cute little cabin was exactly what we needed. Secluded, quaint and quiet. We really enjoyed the patio and grilled both nights. Slept like babies too!

Not so kid-friendly
Loved the lake views and the lack of connectivity. We didn't mind the long drive into town since it meant we were in a quieter part of the lake, AND it meant we got to see a bunch of deer along the roads near the cabin - a surprise treat for our boy. I do agree with the other reviewers about this cabin not being kid-friendly. Our 3.5 year old is generally well-behaved so we took a chance on it being kid-friendly as the listing stated... I was sold by the pictures of the lake and assumed that the water access would be much less treacherous than it actually was. Believe me and the other reviewers that this is not an easy trail down/up. Also, the cabin porch should be guard-railed--the drop had us on-edge, so to speak, every time the little one was running around outside. There just wasn't enough space for a little kid to safely run around outside without super close supervision - which was unfortunate because all we wanted to do was relax on the porch and take in these truly breathtaking views. Our little one kept begging to take the trail to the dock. We also spotted a baby rattlesnake up by the car park toward the end of our stay which added to our stress. I slept better here than I do at home so that made this cabin worthwhile in the end. The home was clean enough and had what we needed to make our 2-night stay a pleasant one. Owners/site should not only remove the "kid friendly" descriptor, they should go so far as to say this property is currently "NOT kid friendly".

Not quite what we had in mind
We booked 5 nights here and only stayed a second night because alternative lodging options to allow us to depart were not available until the following next day. We were ready to say goodbye to our stay here the first morning we woke up. Why? Water access was too dangerous to enjoy, and was not an option for our dog. The calm, relaxing picture painted of the lake experience in the description was not quite what our reality was with choppy water, bees buzzing around, and unforgiving terrain down to the dock. We opted to leave, knowing we likely wouldn't be refunded and to then pay full, peak-season pricing elsewhere. We feel a bit mislead by the description provided. - Water/dock access: Very steep dirt path for the majority of the path to water. My assumption based on this property being tagged as "disability access" was that all aspects of the property were accessible. The dock is very dangerous to get to, it's inaccessible for anyone not surefooted. I cannot emphasize how disappointing this was. - No water access for dogs: The dock is 4 ft off water, with no way to get in and out for dogs. There is no beach. Also note, the wind picks up in this part of the lake and it was dangerously choppy the entire time we were there. We had a scary situation with the waves and the rocks under the dock. So while dogs are allowed, they won't be able to enjoy the lake. This was another big bummer for us. - Sleeps 4 is misleading. Bedding is only provided for the one queen bed. If you intend to sleep on a sofa, bring additional bed clothes and pillows. I also might not describe the queen bed as comfortable. -Gas bbq. Its quite small. Since its not a full size bbq, plan accordingly. - August with no air conditioning is very uncomfortable in Chelan. Highly recommend that if no AC is going to be installed, to consider screen doors for the fruit flies and bees. - Small fridge. Our 5 days worth of food overwhelmed the unit and it did not cool our food for the first day 😞

Secluded getaway on beautiful Lake Chelan
This is a very intimate and secluded property right on the lake with it's own private dock. You have all the basic amenities, including a full kitchen to prepare your meals, which is important as the property is ~30 mins from town. The unit itself is well maintained, but very small. Even so, an extended weekend getaway for a couple was perfectly comfortable. In the summer it's pretty accessible, but you do have to traverse a narrow, single lane, gravel road with large elevation changes - I'd recommend a 4x4AWD. It's also worth mentioning that you'll have to bring your own entertainment as an internet connection is non-existent, as was the cellular service (Verizon & ATT, not sure about others). The absence of connected gadgets was fine as this was the entire aim of my trip - to escape the constant stimulus of technology in day-to-day life and relax.

Nice location, dirty house, not kid friendly
PROS: The view is amazing. End of the road, quiet, secluded spot. The dock itself is cool. The house has a sod roof, and is cozy and cute-looking from the outside. There's a flat space to park or hang out in front of the house, and a nice concrete slab to the side of the house with chairs where you can sit with your back to the hillside and watch the moon rise over the lake. We saw osprey, bats, frogs, swallows. Beautiful location. It's rustic. CONS: It says children are welcome...but this place is NOT kid friendly. It's on a cliff. Getting from the house to the stairs of the dock (they start halfway down the steep hillside) is iffy at best--a dusty, rutted, steep trail that intersects with the plumbing pipes running aboveground. It's definitely possible to slip and seriously fall if you're a good walker. If you have any trouble on your feet for any reason, it would be a risky walk down to the dock. If the trail was maintained better, this could be mitigated. The house was dirty. There were tons of dead bugs stuck to the tops of the kitchen lights. Dust bunnies and spiderwebs all over in the corners and up high. Someone's old water bottle, half-drunk, under the bed. The pillow shams and decorative comforter were clearly unwashed and felt dirty to the touch. (The sleeping pillows, sheets and duvet were clean, however.) There are two couches in the tiny living room and they were filthy and old. (Also, why two couches? This is a tiny, two-person place.) The garbage can in the kitchen didn't have a lid so it immediately attracted bugs--flies, fruit flies, wasps. Gross. So many fruit flies!! Even after I crammed the garbage into the under-sink cupboard, the bugs could still crawl in there. The outside trash cans hadn't been emptied and were nearly full with other people's garbage. The little outdoor grill was filthy and when we arrived the gas tank was on and making the place smell mysteriously scary like propane. OVERALL: We knew it the place would be rustic, and that's what we came for. The cons for me were upkeep-related issues and nothing to do with the actual location or the small size of the house. If the house was cleaner, at least 3 stars. Given the kinda dilapidated nature of many of the furnishings, I think the place was overpriced--there's clearly not a ton of attention given to the inside of the house. But if you're looking to basically go glamping on a quiet part of Lake Chelan, it might be your cup of tea.

Stargazer's Delight!
This little cabin has all the basics and an unparalleled view of upper Lake Chelan. It was fun to watch the ferry, the working boats and the recreational boaters go by from time to time. Although this cabin is high-bank waterfront, I was not able to make the difficult trek to the dock on the water. As a compromise, we drove to the State Park for a lovely swim every afternoon. The big plus was the night sky where the constellations practically shouted their presence. I haven't seen anything like it since I was a child and it was even more enchanting now.

Beautiful view, house needed help
Pros: Beautiful view, nice patio, nice log bed, cool Edison lights, great french doors on the bedroom and livingroom, nice dock (though treacherous walk down and up). Cons: House was dirty (see below), the livingroom was uncomfortable (couches too large and stained, old), no books, games or TV/VCR/DVD typically found in rental properties, obv no internet. When we were getting settled, my husband felt the bed and there was a dish-sized wet spot on the quilt. The area was wet through the quilt, the bed sheets all the way down to the mattress pad. We took all the sheets off the bed, including the mattress pad and stuck everything in the wash. Shortly after that, we realized there was no dryer. We ended up finding extra sheets (no mattress pad), so not all was lost, but that, combined with the fact that the house in general was not very clean - there was mysterious gunk on the plates, the shower leaked and were ant traps around - we felt the house was lacking. We're not OCD about cleanliness, but we should expect to not have to clean in order to feel comfortable/stay in a place.

Not worth the price
The place has the potential to be quirkily charming, but it is unfinished in an unattractive way. The bathroom feels like an old mobile home with unfinished walls. The bed is nice and has twinkle lights above it that are nice but the so called couches for sleeping are old, stained and quite small. The kitchen is very small-hard to work in and the table barely seats two. The access to the lakeside dock is perilous at best. The 'trail' is a slide down a steep dirt hill. Really-new dock but no steps? No wi-fi. We didn't mind. Just know you're out of range so your gps won't help. Last, there is no driveway or visible address. We had to have the manager show us where to drive across a neighbors grass to get there. Just a big disappointment. Save your money.

A perfect couple of days of no phones, Internet, tv...just relaxation with the family!
The views are amazing, and the disconnection to the outside world was the best! The cabin had everything we needed and we loved how quiet it was. My wife, my daughter, and myself went down to the dock after unpacking the first evening and I took my fishing pole down with us just for a little casting practice not really expecting to catch anything for the few minutes we were going to be down there...well after about 4 casts I caught nearly a 20" trout! Anyway the trek down to the lake is a bit steep but short and wasn't bad. The only thing I wish it had was a mooring ball in the water so I could leave my jetski in the water. The way the wind blows up there tying off at the dock is not an option but a sturdy mooring ball would be. We went down to Lake Chelan State Park and played anyway but had to deal with all the "Parkies" while launching the jetski. With the property itself the only recommendations I would have would be to bring your comfy own camp chairs like I did since the outdoor furniture is sturdy but hard, and the couches inside are comfy but a bit stained. But who cares, it an awesome place to get away from all the craziness of the world for a few days!

Birthday nightmare
First property .. A nightmare!!! No cell service and literally dirty with traps everywhere ! I called they moved us to an open property on lakeshore drive.. Very old, charming, clean, and the waterfront was amazing! It's a good idea for the properties to give the tenants a list of items they might bring.. (I.e.- we have no cell service, tv, perfect place to bring cards, books, matches, candles. And games!")
