The location was great - walking distance to all of downtown Chelan. This was the best part!The patio photo online doesn’t show that it is right next to a busy roadway, so we couldn’t really use the patio during the day because it was so loud, which was unfortunate because it’s the only table that would have fit our family. I wish there was a big table inside - currently only a two seated high top. Overall the unit was good - spacious, good beds - but could use some TLC. Doors were hard to close, kitchen faucet was broken, some blinds didn’t work, batteries in the tv remotes were dead, and the TVs themselves were quite small. We were also bummed that the listing said it had a washer and dryer in unit, but when we got there there was a note on top that said not to use it. Pool was quiet which was great. It isn’t heated so it was too cold for our little kids and my grandmother to use.

Overall was good. Air conditioner vent blew right down on the couch so was a little uncomfortable, especially for the person sleeping on the hide a bed. The morning we left my sister found tiny ants in the bathroom.

Cannot recommend a Vacasa rental

I have previously stayed in this condo complex, however they were privately owned. This was our first time using Vacasa in this complex and warn others to not rent this unit. You have been warned. Upon arrival we used the toilet in the only bathroom. It continually ran and upon inspection the stopper in the toilet was broken. I called the number for Vacasa and the gal on the line said she would be in contact with maintenance regarding fixing it. We had to remove the lid from the toilet and had to put our hands in the water to manually fix the stopper after each flush. We are a family of 5, you can imagine how fun that was! They did not send someone out that first day and assured it would be fixed the following day. Not true. After multiple messages back and forth the following day, NO ONE came to fix it. On the next morning at around 10:30 someone finally came and didn’t have the proper part to fix it even though we told them the Issue ahead of time. It finally was fixed that afternoon. The cleanliness of the unit was also not very good there was a granola bar left over and a drink bottle behind the couch, swarming with ants around it!! I will never book through Vacasa again. Book anywhere else but through them. Not worth the hassle if something is wrong with your unit.

Great location

It’s an easy walk into town or across the street to the park and the lake. It’s right next to the main road, but the road noise isn’t bad at all. Made for a nice getaway.

Great location, could be cleaner and more secure

Great spot downtown, walking distance to everything. Kids loved the pool. Spacious. No door latch on inside to lock - there is a deadbolt but anyone who knew the code can enter. Had two occasions when someone off the street opened the lanai gates and walked through, one tried to open the units door. Needs a good cleaning. Cobwebs on lamps and dead bugs in canned lights. Found a rotten apple under the couch - we were wondering why there were so many ants. Found hair in the freezer door. The icemaker didn't work so we had to go to Walmart and buy ice cube trays to make our own.

Decent place to stay

The location of this property was great. It was within walking distance to town and right next to a great pizza joint. The place was clean and worked for our small family of four. The one trouble we had was unlocking the front door, the key fit but we had to jiggle the handle just the right way for it to unlock. Sometimes it took us 10 minutes to get it unlocked.

Awesome spot with a couple exceptions

The location is amazing. The place was clean. Beds were comfy. The only thing we would say is the listing lacked a few details. There was a fireplace in the photos, but there was no description on whether is was a working fireplace or not. We went in the winter and it would have been nice to start a fire. The other detail is that there is some but a few essentials to cook with. We happened to cook in the nights we were there but we didn’t have many utensils to cook with unfortunately. There were many duplicates, but there wasn’t a spatula, for example. Over all, we’d stay there again.

With a little tlc this place could be amazing

We have stayed these condos quite a few times. This was our first time in unit #1. It needs a little bit of TLC. Carpet looks horrible, I dropped my ring and it rolled under the bed. It looked like it had never been cleaned/vacuumed under there. I’m not usually this picky about cleanliness but this was our first time away from home since Covid started and the ad said there was extra cleaning happening. I didn’t find that to be true. Also the key for the door is horrible. We followed the instructions left. It did work eventually work but standing in a downpour and having a key not work was a bit lame. All that being said we love the location and would totally stay here again. Just maybe in a different unit.

Excellent location!!

We have stayed in this Vrbo two years in a row and love it! Location is perfect: across the street from Lake, walking distance to groceries stores, restaurants and Starbucks. This unit is spacious, clean, and has AC. It also has it’s own small outdoor space with a table, chairs, lounge chairs and grill. We will definitely stay again!!

Horrible, did not stay!

The place was a mess! Beds had not been changed or made, soured towels in washer, towel on floor, food in sink and dishes. We did not stay here. I called the Portland number and was told the local manager would call me to take care of the unit. I never heard from him. We arrived at 5:30PM and at 8:30 I called again to be told housekeepIng was on its way! I have yet to hear back from anyone and will be calling today until I am fully refunded my money. Don’t book here, you cannot trust this VRBO. This is the first time I’ve ever experienced this situation.

The First Bad Review I’ve Ever Written…

I’ve been using vacation rentals for over ten years and have never had cause to write a bad review until now. While the condo we stayed in was in a good location (right across from a wonderful lakeside park), and the things wrong with the condo were not huge deals, there were enough of them that my parents, who had never stayed in a vacation rental before, probably won’t again, especially since the phone number listed as our contact (from Vacasa) never answered after 15 minutes. A list of what was wrong: • No bedding for the sofa bed. We looked everywhere. • Half the outlets don’t work. • TV remote didn’t work. • Not enough seating in living room for more than 3 people (one small sofa and one chair) • Icemaker in freezer was frozen up • Dog hair on extra blanket. • The furniture was dusty enough we could write our names in it (to be fair, it was the just the bottom shelves, but still) • Just 1 garbage bag • No paper towels or napkins and only two dishtowels As I said, nothing huge, but it all added up to be a disappointing stay.
