Perfect Get Away

Cabin is wonderful, with all the amenities from home. You couldn’t ask for a better view, or more centralized location to all your favorite Northern sights and towns. Great trail system to walk every morning, and a perfect little hot tub to make turning in about as comfortable as it gets! This was our second visit, and we will return in the future.

Great Place

We love this place. Great location on the lake. It is very peaceful. You are steps away from water. The house is clean, organized and comfortable. Communication with the Owner, Dorene is excellent. We swam & kayaked every day. We went to Mackinac Island one day and we were back to the house by early afternoon and in the lake. The hot tub on the deck overlooking the lake is a bonus. We will be back next summer.

The cabin was nice and clean. The grass and weeds needed to be cut. The doorwall was hard to open/close. The dirt road was hard to get down. There wasn’t room to turn boat around.

Nice cabin on Mullett Lake

2 bedroom cabin right on the water. Very clean and cozy. House comes with nice furniture, new applances, TVs and comfortanle beds. Each room has a great view over the lake. House has 2 kayaks, hot tub, boat access, fire pit. Hiking and biking trail access. House is pet friendly and owner very nice and helpful. Lots of information on sightseeing and restaurants. Will definitively come again to this wonderful cabin.

Labor Day weekend

We celebrated my sons 32nd birthday, Labor Day weekend. It was a wonderful, relaxing time right next to the water. The lake was very calming, and we enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful; Beautiful and Amazing

We loved our week on Mullett Lake. The house was perfect for us. Great location; beautiful water for swimming; kayaking; fishing. We did all 3 every day. Enjoyed the sunrise and the millions of stars in the night sky. The owner is excellent with communication and has the house stocked with everything you might need. We are looking forward to returning.

Perfect Paradise

I am not sure i could find a more perfect paradise. The views are spectacular! We spent a lot of time on the deck watching the loons, ducks, geese, chipmonks, boats, etc. It is impossible to sit out there and not relax. Absolute heaven. The cottage is exactly as described. Check in was very easy, cottage was immaculate when we got there. The kayaks were so much fun. Loved the hot tub! You cant go wrong with this one! We will be back!

Simple amazing

Mullet lake is beautiful. The cottage was perfect,just as pictured. We stayed a week and enjoyed the water for swimming and kayaking. Nice grill and campfire. Which we used often. Host was very easy to communicate with. Hated to leave it was so peaceful.

Great weekend stay on the lake

We had a great stay. The snow did not cooperate this year for us but we enjoyed beautiful sunrises with our morning coffee. The cottage is clean, cozy and well appointed. We also enjoyed several great dinners out in the area. Thank you for sharing a great spot with us!

Houseboat feel

This is a very nice 2 BR house with deck overlooking lake. The deck is literally 5’ from the water. Hot tub is right on deck/lake. You can listen to the water right from your living room and bedroom. Beautiful lake and area. Short drive to Mackinaw, Petoskey, Indian River. House has all you need. Located at end of private drive. Owners are great and easy to work with. You won’t be disappointed.

The view and location OMG!!!

The view is spectacular. You are right on the water. We kayaked everyday and enjoyed the hot tub to warm up at night. Topinabee is between Indian River and Cheboygan. So there are some fun cities to explore nearby. Topinabee is very small but there is a yummy breakfest place that allows dogs on the patio and Topinabee Market has good pizza (it is even close enough to kayak to). We went into Indian River to get our main groceries. Dorene the host is very nice and responsive to any questions. We have rented a handful of properties in the northern LP and this is by far our favorite. The house is small but was big enough for my husband, dog and I. We really were there to enjoy everything outside and we had terrific weather for it.

wonderful place

very quiet and relaxing, kids had fun swimming in the lake and we all enjoyed the hot tub. lots of things to do with a short drive in all directions. would not hesitate to book again if we decide to go back to the area for another trip in the future.

Amazing Quiet Lake Front Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything was clean, comfortable and welcoming. We chose this cabin because of the photos online (it’s even better in person), and because it was dog friendly. Host was very helpful with our questions. Everything was perfect! Wouldn’t change a thing, other than staying longer!
