"Paula and Jamie were so lovely and helpful. They upgraded us to Blue Slate Cottage as we wanted to cook more. They gave us fresh eggs and herbs from the chook pen and garden. Both cottages were were delightful with good facilities and plenty of firewood. There were lots of kangaroos, deer, goats, ducks and an emu on the property. The property is an easy drive Wombeyan Caves and Taralga. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peace and quiet an extra day"

"Really great place! So spacious and love that there are so many bathrooms available. The pool and outdoor BBQ/pizza oven area was really awesome too, as well as the farm animals we saw. I would definitely recommend this place for any large group of people :) The only thing that would make this place even better was if the pool was heated! "

"The house was warm, cozy, and tastefully furnished, truly a home away from home. As a family of six, we felt completely comfortable and had a wonderful time. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy. "When we finally worked out where the house was on this desolate property, we were greeted by a dilapidated boxing bag and home gym on the balcony. Inside we discovered a filthy kitchen, glassware and cooking utensils, stained cushions, carpets, chairs and couch, horrendously dirty inside windows, a desolate deck, dismal firepit area, and a creepy caravan in the bushes. "We had a great time despite the weather being rainy and windy. Kathleen and Ken were so welcoming and made sure we were looked after and even showed us the animals in the rain. On arrival they had the heater on so the place was toasty which was so inviting. The place itself was very clean and comfortable, it has beautiful views and is very neat. "My wife and I had a very relaxing longweek end at Hidaaway far from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. The property was beautiful, well maintained and had all the creature comforts. When heading away for a weekend or longer, we always pack a bag of staples as usually here is sometimes not provided such as salt peper, olive oil and the like. Not this time, everything we need, including ice, was provided. Thank you to Matt and family, you have a beautiful part of the word. Best regards Sean and Jody"
