A wonderful walk all year round, with dune flowers blooming in spring, the chance of a swim in summer, migrating birds in the autumn, and beautiful light and empty paths in winter. Try a different kind of walk and play a round of golf at the nearby Dunstanburgh Golf Club, 3.5 miles. Take a trip to Alnwick, 11 miles, with its great shops, a fine local museum, and the magnificent medieval Alnwick Castle, recognised by millions as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter films, or Brancaster Castle in Downton Abbey.
From the private parking area enter through the front door into the inner hall, off which you will find a utility room and a handy shower room. Go on to the end of the hallway and enter the enormous open plan living space, with separate lounge, dining, and kitchen areas. Cuddle up on one of the three large sofas and catch up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV, or warm yourself in front of the feature fireplace with its inset wood burner for those cooler evenings. Settle down at the dining table, which comfortably seats ten, to enjoy an unforgettable feast cooked on the kitchen range.
