  • Summary:

    A charming corner unit in a historic 1905 house, just one block from King Street. This spacious one-bedroom suite features a king bedroom, a living area with a queen sofa bed, a full bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely porch area for coffee-sipping. Experience the authentic ambiance with original flooring and non-working fireplaces, plus vintage glass windows.



    The Space:

    The layout is ideal for a couple, a small family, or a group of friends:

    1 King master bedroom

    1 Living area with queen sofabed



    - Per the official City of Charleston Short Term Rental ordinance, the property must NOT be occupied by "more than four (4) unrelated people". This does NOT apply to families.



    - Sofa bed available upon request. It is not included in the official bed count and is not advertised as a sleeping area. If you plan to use it during your stay, please let us know in advance so we can provide the necessary linens



    This unit is fully licensed and legal with the City of Charleston under STR Operational Permit OP2024-05742 and Business License BL017927.



    Guest Access:

    Each of our vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests’ stay will be provided the day prior to your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, our team would be happy to assist.



    The Neighborhood:

    The house is located in the heart of the charming and trendy Cannonborough-Elliotborough district of Downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree-lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston's classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun and or relaxing vacation. The house is minutes to the very popular Upper King Street district where you will find a multitude of great shops, bookstores, and fashion boutiques - as well as amazing restaurants!



    Getting Around:

    You can walk anywhere and everywhere in Charleston, but just in case, here is a list of the top transportation services:



    The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website.

    As much as we love furry companions, pets are not allowed at this property. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If a pet and/or pet evidence is found at the home we reserve the right to charge a $150/pet fee.



    🚫 This is a 100% smoke-free property.

    Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. A fine will be charged ($300) for any in-room smoke evidence. If you wish to smoke, please do so at least 10 feet away from the building outdoors.



    🧳 Luggage Drop-Off:

    We are pleased to offer our guests convenient luggage storage through our partnership with Charleston Bag Valet, a trusted local provider. This service allows you to securely drop off your luggage before check-in or after check-out, so you can explore and enjoy your time in Charleston without the inconvenience of carrying your bags. Please note that additional fees apply for this service.



    🏙️ Noise Notice:

    Our home is in a vibrant neighborhood just steps from King Street’s dining and nightlife. While that energy is part of the experience, city noise may be heard. Please be advised that:

    ⭐️ A local noise ordinance is in effect from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

    ⭐️ Guests must be respectful of neighbors during these hours.

    ⭐️ We do not offer refunds for noise-related issues that are to be expected of the location.

    ⭐️ By booking, you acknowledge and accept this city setting and the potential for ambient noise.



    🧑‍🔧 To help us ensure a great stay, guests must allow us the chance to address any issues during their visit.

    Refunds will not be issued for concerns reported after checkout or when resolution efforts are declined.

    🌀 Hurricane Policy / Extenuating Circumstances:

    ⭐️ In the event that a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued for our county by the Governor of South Carolina during your stay, we will provide a full refund of all payments made.

    ⭐️ If no such order is issued, our standard cancellation policy remains in effect, even if weather elsewhere impacts your travel plans.

    ⭐️ We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance, especially during hurricane season, for added peace of mind.

We had an amazing stay! The place is spacious, well stocked, clean and in a fantastic location. Walking distance to many sites and restaurants. The hosts were very quick to respond to any requests. We were two couples who stayed and we were very happy. Bonus point for the porch!

We spent three nights in this lovely condo. It was tastefully furnished and stocked with helpful amenities. The parking space was a bit tight for our mid-sized SUV and the upstairs neighbors seemed to be professional cloggers working the early shift, but other than that it was a perfect option for a fun getaway for a couple.

Charm In Charleston

Your property is lovely. I would suggest that rugs be put on the floor in the unit above the bedroom from unit A. We were awakened both nights by people in heavy shoes walking around (12:30-1:30 AM); something heavy was dropped several times as well. Also, please be aware that the South Carolina roaches are present in the kitchen. This is a nasty thing to deal with. We enjoyed the walkable location and having off street parking, once the impolite people moved their car from our space an hour after we arrived.

Fun in Charleston

My wife and thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Charleston and appreciated the wrap around porch, access to King street, parking and charm of the rental. Host was in regular contact making sure all our needs were satisfied!

Lovely old apartment in a great location

Fantastic location just around the corner from King Street. The property, although old was tastefully decorated with modern appliances and a very comfortable bed. A couple of minor issues with WiFi and our inability to work the blinds were solved quickly, but would have been helpful to have some written instructions somewhere. Overall a great place to base yourself when visiting Charleston. Would definitely stay again if we visit again as a couple.
