Awesome stay in Chania

We loved our time in Crete and Chania! Evelyn was fantastic throughout the whole process and her property was perfect for our family! We were greeted and helped right away from her lovely family and she was extremely quick to respond to any questions we had. We appreciated her many emails with dining and excursion suggestions throughout Crete. We especially enjoyed the rooftop patio everyday and especially the awesome hot tub after our Samaria hike! All of our room were clean, quiet and cool. We loved all her signature touches around the home. I would highly recommend Evelyn’s House for any group of people wanting a space to all be together and enjoy lovely Chania.

beautiful multilevel home with lots of perks

We were met by the owners parents who showed us around the property and were very helpful. The beds were comfortable and there were nice little amenities like robes, hairdryer and straighteners, wonderfully scented local body wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner. Kitchen was well stocked. The view from the top level was lovely and we enjoyed sitting out their with a glass of wone, The hot tub was only luke warm but I would guess there was a reason for that. If you have difficulty with stairs this is not the place for you. Backing out of the parking place can be. a challenge if there are cars parked along the street and we always had someone provide look out for traffic. Easy walking to cafes and shopping

Beyond amazing!

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit mega Dachterrasse

Das Haus ist sehr schön und zentral gelegen. Die Ausstattung ist herausragend, es fehlt an nichts. Ob Handtücher oder Bettwäsche alles hochwertig und ausreichend vorhanden. Altstadt und Promenade fussläufig erreichbar. Wir hatten leider nicht nur schönes Wetter, da wäre eine Kuscheldecke noch schön gewesen( aber eigentlich sollte ja schon Sommer sein ) aber das ist nur mein persönlicher Wunsch gewesen, da ich mich gern draußen aufhalte. Lieben Dank Evelyn und deiner ganzen Familie!

Amazing in every way

i simply cannot say enough great things about evelyn and her beautiful place. It is in a lovely quiet neighborhood about a 15 minute walk to old town. The place is exactly as described. Evelyn is a pleasure to deal with. The jacuzzi has breathtaking views and the water was so clean and the perfect temperature. We loved everything about our stay! Thank you Evelyn!!

The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and each room/bathroom was equipped with monogrammed towels and bedding. All the little things were taken care of: coffee, soaps, cooking essentials, extra batteries just in case, and the hot tub had fresh clean water upon our arrival. There are supermarkets within an easy 5 minute walk, and the main old town is very easily reached in a 10 minute walk along the ocean. My boys enjoyed some great swimming (even in March) and Evelyn's recommendations were spot on for things to do and places to eat. We had a great 5 night stay in Hania... perfection!

If there were 10 star ratings it deserves it

The apartment amazing 3 doubles with 4th self contained with fridge and shower and lift perfect for me 85 year old mother. It was Christmas the host left us wine candles her sister in apartment across the hall brough local sweet cakes. Everything you can think of was provided including umbrellas, robes, special towels for jacuzzi all manner of plates glasses; an ice maker I loved the toiletries so much I bought a larger bottle in a chemist to take home. Location amazing 5 minutes to the sea and 15 mins walk to old town. We had Christmas lunch at The Salis in the old Harbour fantastic food service and awesome wine list. Another day lunch at Pinalein 5 mins walk from the house. Thank you Evelyn and family we hope to come again!!

Great Condo Great location

Lovely property with sunset views from the rooftop. Everything we needed was available from exercise equipment, umbrellas, shopping bags, plus a couple bottles of wine. The beds were extremely comfortable. Location was great we walked everywhere.

Very nice penthouse

Evelyn‘s penthouse is really comfy, clean and spacious. Evelyn is very kind and provides you with lots of useful information about Chania. The neighborhood is quiet and within 15 minutes you arrive at Chania oldtown. There are supermarkets and a good bakery nearby.Much better than staying in a hotel. Thank you, Evelyn.

The house was fantastic - well equipped with anything you might need/want while on holiday, and spotlessly clean. Roof terrace and hot tub were amazing, great for watching the sun set. Parking worked well and easy to walk to things to do. Evelyn was really helpful and quick to respond to queries.

Great Place for families to Stay!

Great location and property

Property located close to old town. Nice neighborhood easy walking distance. Rooms were clean and comfortable. AC in every room. The main property has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. There is an extra room with a bath just outside the main property. We filled it all up. It was a great time.

This was our first visit to Crete. We wanted to stay close to the water, but still have easy access to shopping and restaurants, and Evelyn's House was the perfect spot. Not only is it conveniently situated in Chania, it's a beautiful home. We could see the care she took to ensure we had comfortable and luxurious surroundings. Our favorite was the rooftop deck with hot tub. It offered a great vantage point to see the water while relaxing with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. I highly recommend Evelyn's House to anyone wishing to visit Crete and the prefecture of Chania!

Chania luxury

Our visit to beautiful Chania was made unforgettable by staying in this gorgeous condo with every amenity possible ! The kitchen is well stocked for entertaining - every bedroom has an ensuite that is spacious and modern - the laundry machine washes and dries ! This condos location is perfect - a short walk to fabulous restaurants, museums, attractions and of course the beach and marina areas. We thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop outdoor space and the hot tub jacuzzi with views of the sea and the mountains. The wood burning fireplace was an added bonus. We felt safe and cared for during our stay, especially from Evelyn’s family who generously treated us to local delicious treats. We highly recommend Evelyn’s House !

Excellent visit to Crete!

This property was clean, had great locations, and was fully stocked. The owner was responsive and met us onsite to review the features. The linens were of high quality. Including the towels. And plenty to go around. The sunsets and sunrises were amazing! We walked everywhere from the house location. For longer trips out of town, we took a rental car. A great time was had by all - and we would go back!

Perfect Location

Overall nice property in a great location. Parking under home is tight and was not able to fit our larger rental, however there was no problem finding on street parking each evening. Hot tub temperature was not turned up properly by the cleaning staff so we were unable to use it the first evening, however owner was very apologetic. We were welcomed by the owner's mom who explained everything. There was also a nice bottle of wine waiting for us.

Fabulous stay in Chania

We have stayed in many rental properties. Evelyn's house had the greatest attention to guest comfort. There were electric plugs for all appliances. Coffee maker inclusive of pods, hair dryer and curling iron, monogrammed towels and robe. Tons of travel guides and recommendations. Cant recommend this rental enough. Well done
