We were three adults staying in this beautiful apartment located 15-20 minutes walk along the sea to the old town. The apartment was impeccable and the cleaning staff came regularly. The kitchen and bathrooms, were by far the best equipped of all our stays. We also appreciated the bath robes, flip flops and towels for the hot tub.The host, Evelyn, and her family responded quickly to all questions and issues we had. Excellent place to stay; we highly recommend staying there. Thanks again to Evelyn and her team!

We stayed in Chania from 7/31 to 8/31 2025 and we loved it. This home is very close to the center and all routes out of the city are nearby. The home is extremely well appointed with almost anything you could possibly need while staying there. The host, Evelyn, is very nice and well organized. The material she sends in advance of your stay is extremely helpful and resourceful and useful. We were a group of 6 and all enjoyed it and would stay there again. The top veranda with the jacuzzi is amazing especially during the evening hours, if staying there take time to enjoy it.

Chania haven with a fabulous roof deck

This is a fine home base for exploring Chania. The bedrooms are on the small side, and some of the bathrooms are just above microscopic. The upside is that everyone gets their own private bath. The suite on the elevator-accessible floor 1 is ideal for a guest who can’t handle stairs; the rest of the place definitely requires some climbing.The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary appliances, tableware and cooking tools.The air conditioning worked well in every room, as did all the lights and doors and window shades and other mechanical bits.All fine and good. But several things really set this place apart.The entire place is immaculate. Not a stray hair or speck of dust from top to bottom.Everything a traveler could possibly need is provided, and then some. Power adapters and strips in every room. Rain umbrellas. Beach umbrellas, chairs, mats, toys. A meter-tall stack of beach towels. Soaps and shampoos in every bathroom. Cold water ready in the fridge. A bottle of wine on check-in, and again after the cleaner's visit.The biggest surprise is the roof deck. This is not some dusty sun-baked afterthought. A stunningly well designed and comfortable place to spend afternoons with a book and a bottle of wine, distracted only by the views of mountains and sea. (The hot tub looked inviting if the weather were cooler.)A couple of minor issues were resolved quickly by the host.In short, astonishing attention to detail and guest comfort set this place apart.

Perfect place to stay for the family

This was the most fully equipped place I have ever stayed at. 3 bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom and shower. Fully equipped kitchen with all amenities needed. A roof-top terrace with lounge chairs and sofas to relax at the end of the day! a garage for parking, beach equipment, monogrammed towels, sheets, and robes!Evelyn provided loads of information about Chania and western Crete, things to do, places to visit, restaurants to eat at.She was very responsive to our questions. She met us at arrival and showed us the entire place.Will definitely stay here again the next time the family visits!

Awesome stay in Chania

We loved our time in Crete and Chania! Evelyn was fantastic throughout the whole process and her property was perfect for our family! We were greeted and helped right away from her lovely family and she was extremely quick to respond to any questions we had. We appreciated her many emails with dining and excursion suggestions throughout Crete. We especially enjoyed the rooftop patio everyday and especially the awesome hot tub after our Samaria hike! All of our room were clean, quiet and cool. We loved all her signature touches around the home. I would highly recommend Evelyn’s House for any group of people wanting a space to all be together and enjoy lovely Chania.

beautiful multilevel home with lots of perks

We were met by the owners parents who showed us around the property and were very helpful. The beds were comfortable and there were nice little amenities like robes, hairdryer and straighteners, wonderfully scented local body wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner. Kitchen was well stocked. The view from the top level was lovely and we enjoyed sitting out their with a glass of wone, The hot tub was only luke warm but I would guess there was a reason for that. If you have difficulty with stairs this is not the place for you. Backing out of the parking place can be. a challenge if there are cars parked along the street and we always had someone provide look out for traffic. Easy walking to cafes and shopping

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit mega Dachterrasse

Das Haus ist sehr schön und zentral gelegen. Die Ausstattung ist herausragend, es fehlt an nichts. Ob Handtücher oder Bettwäsche alles hochwertig und ausreichend vorhanden. Altstadt und Promenade fussläufig erreichbar. Wir hatten leider nicht nur schönes Wetter, da wäre eine Kuscheldecke noch schön gewesen( aber eigentlich sollte ja schon Sommer sein ) aber das ist nur mein persönlicher Wunsch gewesen, da ich mich gern draußen aufhalte. Lieben Dank Evelyn und deiner ganzen Familie!

The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and each room/bathroom was equipped with monogrammed towels and bedding. All the little things were taken care of: coffee, soaps, cooking essentials, extra batteries just in case, and the hot tub had fresh clean water upon our arrival. There are supermarkets within an easy 5 minute walk, and the main old town is very easily reached in a 10 minute walk along the ocean. My boys enjoyed some great swimming (even in March) and Evelyn's recommendations were spot on for things to do and places to eat. We had a great 5 night stay in Hania... perfection!

If there were 10 star ratings it deserves it

The apartment amazing 3 doubles with 4th self contained with fridge and shower and lift perfect for me 85 year old mother. It was Christmas the host left us wine candles her sister in apartment across the hall brough local sweet cakes. Everything you can think of was provided including umbrellas, robes, special towels for jacuzzi all manner of plates glasses; an ice maker I loved the toiletries so much I bought a larger bottle in a chemist to take home. Location amazing 5 minutes to the sea and 15 mins walk to old town. We had Christmas lunch at The Salis in the old Harbour fantastic food service and awesome wine list. Another day lunch at Pinalein 5 mins walk from the house. Thank you Evelyn and family we hope to come again!!

Evelyn‘s penthouse is really comfy, clean and spacious. Evelyn is very kind and provides you with lots of useful information about Chania. The house was fantastic - well equipped with anything you might need/want while on holiday, and spotlessly clean. Roof terrace and hot tub were amazing, great for watching the sun set. Parking worked well and easy to walk to things to do. Evelyn was really helpful and quick to respond to queries.
