Architect designed Cretan Sea Vista

Βuilt in the ‘80s by 2 famous Greek architects (D. and S. Antonakakis) the house is on a hill overlooking Souda bay and the port, in the middle of a beautiful mediterranean garden with outstanding view to the sea and the mountains from all house terraces and every single window. Its location and its architecture are the assets of the house, making it distinct and full of charm.

The house extends on 3 levels. One enters the house at level 2 which comprises: a) the entrance, b) a spacious living room with access to the garden and to the house’s main terrace, which is ideal for relaxation after sunset, c) the dining room, d) the kitchen and e) one more terrace, outside the dining area and the kitchen. The kitchen also has access to a cozy backyard, part of the garden.
Stairs (equipped with a chair lift) lead downstairs to level 1 where one finds: a) the house’s master bedroom with a king-sized bed, its own bathroom and private access to a cozy backyard, b) two single bedrooms with built-in beds, c) one big room with 2 built-in single beds and a sofa that turns into a double bed, d) one bathroom.
On level 3, there is one more spacious bedroom with a double bed (which can also be converted into two twin beds upon request) and its private bathroom as well a beautiful private terrace. One more terrace exists at the opposite side on this level, with view both to the garden as well as to the sea and the mountains.
In total, the house has 2 double bedrooms (level 1 & 3), 2 single bedrooms (level 1) and one more spacious room than can be used as a bedroom (level 1). It therefore sleeps 6 to 10 persons. It has 4 terraces, all with beautiful view. The house is equipped with air conditioning in all bedrooms and common areas. The kitchen is fully equipped for everything one may need, including an oven, hob top, dishwasher, and toaster, with direct access to the outdoor dining terrace. Washing machine is also available.

Although children of all ages are welcome, please keep in mind that this is a house with many stairs, levels, and terraces with high drops and low walls. Please assess your individual situation and your comfort level, as this is not necessarily a "child-proof" home.

A car here is necessary even though conveniently located!
The house is 10 minutes from the Port in Souda, 20 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from Chania city centre (by car). The closest beaches (Marathi, Loutraki) can be reached in about 25 minutes by car.
