"This was the perfect stop at the end of our scenic drive along M22. We did not have time to enjoy all the amenities; we would have really enjoyed making a fire in the outdoor fire pit. In the fall when we visited, dining options were limited in town but a full grocery store is only 1 minute away and the kitchen is very well stocked. "Been staying for years. It was a great place, then about 3-4 years ago it…changed. Not sure what but the quality of everything went down. Not the staff, you could tell the staff was frustrated, but they have always been great. During this stay there was storage containers of new furniture, their pool/hot tub was (mostly) fixed…. "Nice fixtures and furniture, very clean and approachable. Plenty of space for groups to gather (large room with fireplace, TV room in the back, and gaming area on the 2nd floor). Kitchen was very small, I imagine it would be fine if using the grill outside in the warmer months. Counterspace is at a minimum so maybe a giant coffee maker AND ice nugget machine isn't the best budget for space. Tub in primary bathroom has jets, but they do not function. "The Beaver’s Lodge is brand new and well appointed. It has a very comfy feel; it’s not a man cave. There are games for the kids, the kitchen is well setup, plenty of space and everything works. The owners are very responsive. The beds are very soft. Towels are brand new. Spotless clean. "
