Cute little property right off of M-22. We loved how close it was to our travels on the Leelanau Peninsula. The owners were quick to respond to our questions.

The rooms are dated but clean. There was some drywall damage in the bathroom which was a bit unsightly. I would stay there again but would not pay busy season rates for what you get. It’s just ok.

Room 1 is loud. I asked for an alternate and the facility manager said none were available but there were only 2/3 of the rooms active. Convenient spot for its location. An ideal location for summer/fall travel where you just need somewhere to stay for the night.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room its self was not clean. Many spiders and cobwebs on the walls and ceiling! I had to clean them up before I could settle in. The bathroom is in need of repair, very subpar condition with spider egg nests in the corner under the sink, walls need repairs and towels were old and stained. It was a place to sleep.

Room was filthy, dead bugs in the bed, cobwebs everywhere, filthy tile in the bathroom water damage and black mold in the bathroom along with rotting baseboards. The ac filter was dirty and the whole room had a musty smell. All that being said the staff was super friendly and pleasant.

The location was great and was the reason we selected this motel. The property was very dated but clean. Our room had 2 queen beds, a full- sized fridge, little table and 2 chairs. It was an up north Michigan experience! The check-in instructions from Expedia said I'd receive an email before check-in. That didn't come so I called the motel directly and was told they aren't able to gain access to contact info through 3rd party sites. Check-in & check-out was very easy though.

Enjoyed our stay. Loved the location. Right across the street is a view of the lake. The rooms need a deep clean. Above my head in the bed were cob webs and when entering the room you are meet with a must/mold smell. We stayed for three nights and we were only given 2-3 large towels. I also don’t like the fact that they trust the people who are renting the rooms to wash the dishes thoroughly. I really hope that they wash them again after check out. I know I wash my dishes good but I don’t trust other people. I would trust the hotel staff more.

Room 1 is too noisy and too much traffic light overnight. The room had a faucet leak that couldn’t be fixed. Overall clean and functional for the price. We like to stay there but room 1 won’t be a room we recommend staying in.

It needs updating Not a good place to plug in a curling iron with a mirror to curl hair and put on makeup, mirror in bathroom was at the side of the sink and counter so you had to wrench your neck sideways to see. Sheets, pillows and blankets were a little sketchy, we didn’t trust them well to be cozy in bed. Cigarette burn holes in one of the blankets. We went out bought our own pillow, pillow case and blanket. Small fridge froze all our drinks and food we put in it. Probably won’t stay here again.

We enjoyed this pet friendly vacation, conveniently located 15 miles north of traverse city and just down the road from Downtown Suttons Bay. Easy to book and owners are on the property - quiet and friendly!

Stay was perfect for what we needed. We have pups and the property met all our needs. Plenty of walking areas and extremely close to town. Will be staying here again.
