"Spent 3 nights in Tumwater in absolute comfort. The house had everything needed for an enjoyable vacation: well-equipped kitchen, game room with pool table, karaoke and video games, and comfortable seating throughout. The layout and space of the house allowed us to relax together without stepping all over each other. "Lake access was easy. Lake was clean and refresh for middle of September. Hot tub was fantastic with lake view especially at night. Bed was super comfortable. Loved the bathroom. Very modern updated functional furniture and appliances. Would definitely stay again. Host was responsive with questions we had. The only thing distracting you from the quietness and calm of the setting is the train that is very close and the blaring of the horn. When inside with all windows and doors...

"Listing NOT accurate: Only 3 queen beds, 3 single beds, no futon couches, no king bed. It sleeps 10 tops with glasses, plates and cookware for 8 . The listing photo shows trees by the house, reality: there is a view of a car/shop garage with 100 junk cars. The fire pit is not usable, no wood anyway. The house was dirty when we arrived, food was on the kitchen floor and we had to mop up the sticky stuff that was near the bar stools. There were no kitchen towels or hand towels for the bathrooms....

"The rental was clean, comfortable and beautiful. It was January in Olympia so it was wet outside, but cozy, comfy inside. There were 5 of us staying, there was plenty of space to enjoy each other's company. There was even a bottle of wine to greet us when we arrived. We never met the owner, but she communicated all we needed to know through VRBO messaging. Stairs were steep but we were expecting that, otherwise the perfect getaway!"
