"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Beautiful cottage, very quiet and super friendly owners. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Fantastic views and lovely little garden. Perfect place for a relaxing break and great base for exploring all of snowdonia. "

"This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). The outside space was so private and had a fantastic view over the fields and to the hills beyond. Our favourite thing was sitting out at night by the fire pit and relaxing, looking up at the stars. "Lovely cottage, in a truely wonderful location.
This home is rather arty and unique. Tastefully restored with love by the owner. It is small but plenty big enough for one mum and a lanky son. We thought it could have been a little cleaner; crumbs under cushions, sticky balcony, but as my son said "not bad enough to complain about". The kitchen has everything you need - I took my cook pot so didn't use it much.
There is a shop in the village for basics and a Co-op 10 minutes away in Blanaeu...

"Magical cottage in a spectacular setting. It felt like we were in a fairytale. Many special touches made the property feel homely, cozy and high- end. The nearby villages are wonderful. Would have loved to stay longer. "
