A very enjoyable stay at the south end of the island away from the busy-ness of centro. Ocean access steps away with a beautiful view off the dock. The pools were clean and quiet, a great way to relax in the afternoon with partial shade for those really hot days. We loved having 3 floors of comfort to spread out. The roof top was a perfect beginning and ending to our days. Amenities onsite were awesome. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

We had a blissful stay! The villa was perfectly tidy on arrival and the grounds were immaculate. The staff was always attentive and helpful and coordinated golf cart taxis on arrival and departure. Although we were on the south side of the island, everything was walkable for my family. I would definitely recommend this location and hope to visit again soon!

This unit is spacious and has everything you need, very clean and in good condition. The location, in the quieter part of the island was perfect for our family of 4. The small resort is great for young kids - fun games in the courtyard, two pools to choose from, and a convenient and very good restaurant steps away in the neighbouring property, Weezie's. We appreciated the old-school guidebooks to peruse, complimentary sunscreen and bug repellant (though we didn’t need the bug repellant), and bottled water for drinking. Would definitely recommend this spot!

Amazing Property

We loved staying here so much! The villa was perfection with everything you need. Kitchen fully stocked and the beds were very comfortable. There is a Fire TV for all your streaming needs as well as a dvd player with small selection of dvds. We also loved the swimming pool which was warm and refreshing and shaded for most of the day. The grounds were very well maintained and so pretty. The dock was great to swim and relax and we loved the yard games (corn hole, ladder ball). There is a great restaurant/bar on the property that we ate at multiple times and it was delicious. 2.50 coffee! Walk to the water taxi is about 10 mins and about 20 mins to the split but there are bike rentals on property too. Staff was so friendly and helpful! My teenagers kept thanking me for booking such a nice place to stay.

We LOVE Velento properties!!!

They are organized, cleanly, and have a wonderful staff! Always there to help with any issue and they go above and beyond for their guests. We have stayed with them 3 times, and will never stay anywhere else! Highly recommend!

Really it was one of the best properties I've ever stayed at we have vacation rentals on our island where we live in Washington state on San Juan island and this just blew me away it was so awesome the staff was just amazing they were so nice and friendly and eat chicken was amazing and quick I just can't say enough about it stay here stay here stay here they have all kinds of stuff you can do all day and it's got white sand and they're so clean it's not even real

Great Place to Stay!

We would definitely stay here again! Perfect for a family of 4! Everything was clean and nice and the staff was really great answering all of our questions about navigating the island and finding what we needed. When we had issues with the company we rented our golf cart from (not related to this VRBO), the front desk staff called them and took care of everything for us. Transportation from the water taxi to VRBO was pre-arranged for us and everything went really slick! Really great service & a really great place to stay!! Thank you for making this a great trip for us!!

Wonderful place to stay in Caye Caulker

A great spot, beautiful upper deck, well equipped kitchen, lovely dock for lounging on and enjoyed the paddle boards…liked being a bit further away from the action further up the island but could still easily walk to the split , restaurants etc. Lovely French restaurant just around the corner too!

Caye Caulker Stay

Couldn"t have been happier with our stay. Place was perfect. Within walking distance of everything on the island. Staff helped with pickup from the ferry dock, booking a golf cart for a day and looking after booking a snorkel tour. Highly recommend.

AMAZING

Check in was non-existent, the staff was ready for me and took me to my room with no check in process necessary. They then gave us a presentation about the property. AC works great, pool was awesome. The rooftop was a really nice way to end the nights. I would recommend this to anyone!

This place is just as beautiful in person as it is in the photos! Debbie was extremly helpful and very prompt on her email responses. We had a taxi waiting for us upon arriving to the island which was nice as well. Everyone was extremely accommodating and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Amazing location and amazing management

We had a tremendous time in Caye Caulker, and the staff at Valento was incredible at making it happen. Due to a blizzard our flights were delayed by 5 days for a 7 day trip. The staff went above and beyond to make this work for us. Since our property was booked after our original checkout date, they moved things around for us and got us a place for each night so we could extend our trip. Caye Caulker is the most relaxing island getaway. None of the touristy stuff (or cars!) to distract and get in the way. You can walk everywhere, the food is amazing, the people are great, and the prices can't be beat. Perhaps our best vacation spot ever. We never repeat vacation destinations, but we are seriously considering breaking that rule!

The place was beautiful and the staff very accommodating. Loved the beautiful pool, the hammocks and the use of SUP and kayaks. Caye Caulker does not really have sandy beaches but docks. Appreciated the bikes for getting around the island.

Love it again

We stayed at this same property last year and still love everything about it. The rental has everything we need, staff is awesome and the location with the doc and pool are excellent. It is a little on the south side of the island so the the bike rental is also a plus for jaunts into town! We will definitely stay here again!:)

Great Place

The house and property were very nice and well maintained. We enjoyed both the pool and dock. The property manager was extremely friendly and responsive to any questions or needs that we had. He picked us up from the airport and took us to get some groceries the first night. For the rest of the week, we just enjoyed walking around the island. This place is defintely somewhat far from the busy part of town, but the walk is not too long and the streets are well lit if you are walking back after dark.
