GuestHost - Cilea Central Apartment, Just a Few Steps from the Train Station

A cozy 56-square-meter apartment for 2 people, located on the first floor of a building (one step to enter). The property is centrally located, less than a 10-minute walk from the train station, in an area with plenty of amenities and strategically situated for reaching the city center’s main attractions—such as Piazza Duomo, Castello Ursino, and Teatro Bellini—on foot or by public transportation.

The apartment consists of a living area with a kitchenette, a bedroom, and a bathroom.



The accommodations are laid out as follows:



-LIVING AREA with KITCHENETTE: (gas stovetop, moka pot, refrigerator, electric oven, various kitchen utensils, wine glasses), sofa, dining table with chairs, split A/C;

-BEDROOM with a double bed, TV, and closet;

-BATHROOM with a shower curtain, bidet, and toilet.



ADDITIONAL AMENITIES: Heat pump air conditioning (1 split unit), iron and ironing board, hot water, clothesline, and hair dryer.



PLEASE NOTE: There is one step leading up to the apartment.



The entire apartment is for the exclusive use of guests during their stay, and there are no shared spaces with the host or other tenants.



We are very flexible and will be happy to arrange early check-ins or late check-outs, if possible, provided there are no other guests checking in or out. Any requests can only be confirmed the day before arrival.



Seven days before arrival, you’ll receive instructions on how to register your documents and pay the tourist tax (€2.00 per person per night) through our Guest Portal.

We need this procedure to verify your information and documents and to send the information to the Alloggiati Web police service, which is the Italian system for registering guests staying in Italy.

The use of air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian regulations (Presidential Decree No. 74 of April 16, 2013, and Ministerial Decree No. 383 of 6.10.2022).

Summer: The average air temperature must not fall below 26°C for all types of buildings.

Winter: The weighted average air temperature must not exceed 19°C. The heating season and the daily operating time depend on the climate zone defined by the regulations.

Catania Climate Zone B: 7 hours per day from December 8 to March 23.



For check-ins between 9:00 PM and 12:00 AM, a surcharge will apply, payable in cash upon arrival, as follows:

From 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM: EUR 25

From 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM: EUR 30

Check-in is not possible after midnight, even for a fee.



In the event of improper waste disposal in violation of the rules that will be explained to you at check-in, a penalty of €150 will be charged.

The apartment is centrally located, less than a 10-minute walk from the Central Station and all major amenities, including a pharmacy, supermarkets, restaurants, and bars. In addition, a short walk takes you to the main points of interest in the historic center, such as Piazza Duomo and the Cathedral of Sant’Agata, the historic neighborhood market, the Benedictine monastery, Castello Ursino, the Greek-Roman Theater, the Vincenzo Bellini Opera House, and the garden of the same name. The accommodations are also well-served by public transportation.

Walking through the city streets, you’ll come across numerous bars, restaurants, and pastry shops where you can enjoy the renowned cuisine and typical products of the region, known throughout Italy and around the world.
