Great location for car week. Close enough to everything but secluded enough to get away from the craziness. The house was comfortable and relaxing. The host was great to work with and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again

Beachfront Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend at this home and enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the relative proximity to Santa Cruz and Monterey. The home is well stocked with supplies that you may need and was very comfortable.

Scenic beachfront getaway

My family of 4 stayed here over Thanksgiving break, and we had a great time. It was wonderful to wake up and just walk out onto the beach. We saw groups of sea lions swimming and playing in the surf every day, and the beach was very clean and peaceful. We had everything we needed in the house. Thank you!

Amazing location and views!

The property location is amazing -- great views out the windows and off the deck, and a short walk down the boardwalk to a long, sandy beach. The home is a great layout -- huge kitchen/sitting area, bedrooms down the hallway away from any noise. The home is well stocked with anything and everything you might need! The host was super responsive and made the process very easy! Beware if you check in after-hours you will have to call the office using the keypad. However, in our case, they did not answer. If this happens, you might have to wait at the gate if the security folks are doing rounds. Fortunately, we only had to wait a couple minutes. The unit has carpets which are a bit musty and should probably be replaced soon. Not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of if you are sensitive. We opened up all the windows to help this. There are some discrepancies in the listing: + there is no air conditioning + we could not find a carbon monoxide detector as listed Overall this was a great stay!

Peaceful Beach House

This place is lovely, just a quick walk to the quiet beach, and club house. If you want some night life it is a quick drive to Monterey. This is a perfect location and has everything you need. We will book again!

Peaceful stay by the ocean

Perfect condo right by the beach - maybe 50 steps from the patio to the sand. The dunes are beautiful. We stayed during the work week, so there were almost no other humans there, but lots of birds: pelicans, sandpipers, and others I couldn't identify :) The owner is very friendly and fast to respond to messages.

Labor Day Getaway!

We had a wonderful weekend at the beach for a much needed family Labor Day getaway. The home is well appointed with all that you need to make memories. The beachfront location cannot be beat - our boys spent hours boogie boarding in the surf. After an epic day in the sun, we retreated to find that the home was warm, inviting and comfortable to cook a family dinner, play games and watch movies. We found the hosts to be very communicative, and attentive to our needs. We cannot wait to return :)

As advertised: great beachfront getaway.

The house is perfectly situated on the beach and great for family. Clean and well situated in a quiet area but near town. Property owner was responsive and helped with VRBO logistics issues. Recommend highly.

Location Location Location!

This condo is perfectly situated in the center of Monterey Bay and an amazing location for us (traveling from San Francisco to Big Sur). We enjoyed whale watching very close by - Fast Raft departed from Moss Landing just a few minutes drive. Also, since this condo is amongst several artichoke farms we enjoyed steamed and fried artichokes at The Whole Enchilada (highly recommend a visit there too). Nearby Power Plant Cafe was delightful for a morning cappuccino. The hosts photos are VERY accurate of the rental. The beach access could not have been any better and the accommodations were great.

Pleasant location, beautiful view

Family had a great time. Location is beautiful. Beaches better in the morning, very windy in afternoons. Lots of nice amenities; used grill for cooking every day. Host was very responsive to any issues that came up throughout visit and when we left some stuff behind by accident was kind enough to send back to us and did so without charging. Would recommend.

Wonderful!

Wonderful beach rental, well equipped, very comfortable, rented this for my family and they are hard to impress. They were impressed, comfortable and happy the whole time. Beach is literally steps away as described by the hosts. Amy the owner was prompt in replying and very kind. We hope to stay here again!

Beauty all around...

What a lovely place! Amy is very kind and helpful. The view is so breathtaking, and the home has great energy. It was so nice to get out of the heat where we live and spend time so close to the ocean. Our kids think being able to walk out the door and walk right up to the beach is like magic. This is an excellent spot for families, and we hope to be back.

Peaceful Getaway

The Beach House was a perfect, peaceful place to relax for a few days. The calming atmosphere and incredible views, along with the absolute tranquility made this a spot my 3 children (2 teens) and I vowed to return to. Amy is a wonderful host and the home is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Rarely do we want to return to the same place but this is the exception. Cannot wait to come back someday soon.

Moss Landing Review

Wonderful, quiet location. House located right on the beach, allowing direct views and access to the ocean. Saw dolphins, wales and scores of sand dollars! The beach house had great space and furnishings, and the kitchen was well-stocked. It would be nice if the smaller bedroom had a bureau for the clothes, and the beds in the second bedroom were small for adults and uncomfortable.

Memorable Birthday Weekend

This condo was beautifully appointed. And the location was a short drive to Carmel and Monterey. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves. It was a great place to have a quiet romantic and very private stay. Would definitely book again!

Quiet “private” beach location away from crowds

We were looking for a quiet family retreat on the beach away from crowds and oh boy did we find it. This property is located footsteps from the sand and your own “private” beach. Only seldom did you see other people on the beach. It’s a location that is calming and rejuvenating. The kitchen is well stocked. There’s tennis, basketball, pickleball courts and a pool and jacuzzi. We used the pickleball court every day and the jacuzzi, which was a short walk from the unit. We also spent a couple days in Monterey and Carmel which is a short 20 minute drive south. If you’re looking for peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place.
