First time visiting Kootenay Lake

This was an excellent base to see both Nelson and access Kootenay Lake,This was a full Home and very well equipped.Response from the Host was very quick whenever contacted Downtown Nelson location very close to everything.We enjoyed walking to nearby restaurants and walking to see many of the numerous murals Nelson is known for.Slept very well, was not bothered by any noise which is important to me.

Wonderful Location/Beautiful Property

We stayed at the Lamplighter Grand Loft in mid May for four nights. Everything exceeded our expectations. The bread waiting for us was a nice touch. The contemporary design of the loft was tastefully done. We ended up enjoying lots of the local restaurants, but if we had decided to cook the kitchen had everything you would need.We enjoyed watching the trains come by, but did not find the noise distracting at all. During our stay we went to the Queen City Escape Room, the zip line tour and we walked to one of the disc golf courses (make sure to bring your own discs).One member of our group was the last to leave and she did not have a car. We did discover getting transportation to Castlegar to be a bit challenging. Eventually, she was able to find a taxi that could take her to the airport on a Sunday morning.We all highly recommend the Lamplighter Grand Loft and the Nelson, BC area.

Best place in Nelson

3rd time here and this Loft unit is just as Amaya’s the first time. Host offers clear instructions and is quick to respond and has a warmth and generous spirit. This units is impeccably furnished with thoughtful touches, the freshly baked bread was delicious .All you need for a fantastic stay in Nelson can be found here.

Love this place!

This place is an absolute gem in the middle of the action in downtown Nelson. The loft is beautiful and comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything - a great kitchen, a cozy living area with a gas fire and every comfort you need, including a great two-person hot tub on the deck. We'll be back!

One Of A Kind Excellence In Nelson

We had a wonderful time staying at the Grand Loft for three nights in September. The high ceilings, spaciousness and cozy charm of the loft made for an amazing home base for exploring Nelson. We were greeted on arrival with a fresh baked loaf of bread, balsamic and olive oil. Delicious, and a really welcoming touch. All of the delights of quaint downtown Nelson were a few blocks away, but the location of the loft made it feel like a private retreat from everything. The loft is very thoughtfully equipped and owner? Chara was extremely gracious and responsive. Truly an exceptional experience!

Beautiful Central Oasis

I loved my stay at this property, it is exactly as shown and has a lovely calm energy that is so welcoming. I was greeted with a delicious loaf of sourdough (still warm!) along with coffee staples which made feel at home right off the bat, such an appreciated welcome! Chara is a lovely host, attentive and responsive. The suite is walking distance to everything downtown and is super quiet and is very well equipped. I highly recommend this property and very much look forward to my next stay here. Thanks again Chara! ❤️

Amazing and cozy stay with a perfect city location!

This property is perfect for a girls getaway or small family stay. So cozy and the interior design is on point. We loved staying within walking distance to all the fun shops and restaurants. We were impressed with how well insulated the condo was considering it was next to the railroad tracks and were never disturbed by the train passing. The bed was super cozy and linens were so nice. The owners put so many special touches into the condo to make the stay feel luxurious. The host was very responsive and welcoming. We will be back.!

Best VRBO for Baldface Valhalla

2 minute walk to Baldface Nelson office for check in. 5 minute walk to Empire Coffee for Baldface Valhalla shuttle pick up and drop off. 5 minute walk to great dinner restaurants. 5 minute walk to downtown shops. Could not have asked for a better place to stay while riding at White Water and Valhalla. Gorgeous townhome. Gorgeous views. Comfortable beds and sheets. 10/10

Weekend getaway

It was a beautiful relaxing weekend getaway w three generations of women. I loved the extras with nice shampoos and conditioners and stocked kitchen w oil and spices. The tub is amazing! Chara was a wonderful host. Trains were a non issue.

Beautiful Grand Loft

We stayed here for our honeymoon and were not disappointed, we loved everything. We were pleasantly surprised at all of the small details, they made the place even more special (fresh bread, robes, kitchen stocked with spices). It was a perfect getaway with all of the conveniences of home. The suite is gorgeous and so well decorated. The host always replied promptly and was very helpful. The train didn't bother us as much as we were expecting, it was quiet during the night (as long as you keep the windows closed) and didn't interrupt your sleep. We did not notice it that much. We enjoyed kayaking in Nelson and Marzano was a fantastic restaurant. A beautiful trip indeed!

Oasis in Nelson

This loft suite is so beautifully done, fully equipped and looks like it was dropped here straight from NYC! The unit has thoughtful touches throughout, high quality finishes and is within walking distance from all of Nelson’s great restaurants and shops. Don’t worry about the train, after 1 day you won’t even notice. The hot tub on the deck is the cherry on top. Thank you Chara!

Great accommodations in Nelson

The hostess communicates very well. She was responsive to questions we had during the stay. The kitchen is very well equipped with seasonings, oil and a surprise loaf of bread for us to enjoy. Highly recommend staying here. Close walk to town and easy access to go to Whitewater. Loved our time in Nelson

Great Getaway

The property is very well equipped and very comfortable. It’s located very close to the downtown restaurants and shops. At first it appears to be very close to the railway tracks but this isn’t an issue and the view from the property is of the surrounding mountains and river valley.

Wonderful loft and location

This place is absolutely gorgeous and its a 2 block walk to Baker street with all the shops and restaurants. We stayed here for 7 days over the holidays and loved the space, it was perfect for 4 people, the kitchen was great for cooking, BBQ, hot tub, Nespresso, very open with a gorgeous view of the mountains, i really cant say enough good things about the space. Chara was a great host, her communication was top notch.
