"Lovely hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast!"

"Very nice traditional hotel, has a lot of character. The rooms are a tad dated but fit the atmosphere of the building. Really comfy beds and we had memory foam pillows on a big bed. It is also a restaurant but we didn't eat here, but it smells very nice. Would very much stay here again for the price"

"My daughter grand daughter and myself stayed for one night , the staff were friendly and helpful , the room was lovely and well stocked with ect breakfast was also very good, they also arranged a cab for us to take us to the event we had booked. "Loved the courtyard, very helpful owner with all requests, spotless room, good location."

"Very friendly staff. Lovely situation, overlooking river."

"Very quiet location close to all amenities. Stairs may be difficult for less able people. Garden could be lovely, with some work. Car park charges have Increased to £7. , not £4.50"

"Toooooo hot in the room. No A/C available; only an old fan moving the hot air. Difficult to breathe. Very very little room, without table and chair to work (in my case) or to seat in a place different to the bed. I ask in reception to change my room; nothing else available. They took me a table and 1 chair, so I couldn't move in the room. Weak wi-fi line "
