"This place was lovely, right on the slopes of mount Etna. Guiseppe and Louisa were fantastic hosts and were very friendly and helpful. Good set up of our apartment with separate living space to bedroom with lots of room. Only downside was small shower and no AC. On the day we were leaving they were quite happy for us to take our time as room was free for that day so woke up late and after sorting ourselves out we took a tour of the winery. "This was our second stay at Cavanera. The setting is amazing and the restaurant, Riserva, is outstanding. The surrounding area is a wine lover’s paradise. Things to improve…. They should just let the air conditioning run in the gym. It’s a sauna in there. They only turn it on if someone wants to use it which makes no sense to me.
