Excellent stay at this vacation home. Very large home, expansive, laid-out well, and on a large surrounding property. The home was well appointed and all mechanicals worked great. Host was excellent to work with. We loved the game room, AV, sauna, and 2 kitchens. Highly recommended!

Amazing trip

Woodhaven was the perfect place for our family to spend time together. Absolutely beautiful property, with everything you need. David was quick to respond to any questions we had. Anyone looking into Woodhaven book it, it won’t disappoint. We do plan on returning in the future

This home is magnificent - without a doubt. Completely epic. Cleaning is great, however, their cleaning staff was inconsistent with some key touchpoints like toilet paper, kleenex, and garbage bags in the bathroom. While these are the most boring elements of a stay, they are things you don't want to think about. The house is HUGE. It would be really helpful if there was a book or binder that guests could reference for instructions, where things are stored, etc. There is a digital welcome book, but it is incomplete and challenging to read on mobile device. (Cannot zoom in on the content.The listing mentioned a boat is included -- there is no boat included. I figured this out ahead of time, luckily, but that's a gigantic item to mistakenly include in the description. The largest dining room table in this home only seats 8, and we had a group of 10. Given that there are 5 bedrooms, I think there should be a table for 10-12 people -- or more. The landscaping is gorgeous and well maintained. There is a great patio and firepit. However, they don't have any outdoor furniture other than a couple of lawn chairs. We weren't able to really soak in the ambience while sitting on coolers and the ground. If you are an audiophile, the stereo in this home is worth the stay. D'Agostino receiver and YG Audio speakers. ifykyk

Fall getaway

A group of guys on our annual fall hunting/fishing weekend. This was our first time staying at this home but it’s a 10 out of 10. The property is absolutely stunning. With hiking trails joining the Chippewa National Forest, as well as a long walk of endless shoreline, all for your private enjoyment during your stay. The fall fishing on Leech Lake was stellar and the access is less than 1 minute down the shoreline to launch your boat. The location is perfectly remote and peaceful. Once you’re there, nothing but absolute silence. hot tub was a big win and the fireplace was perfect for warming up after being on the water. We only had 4 of us but the home can easily accommodate 10 people. 4 bedrooms have en-suite baths which was an added bonus. We’ll definitely be back.
