"Beautiful location in Kangaroo Valley for a weekend getaway (only 1hr from Campbelltown) Large 3 bedroom, fully self contained, spacious cottage with great amenities and some antique treasures. Fireplace was cosy and comforting on a cold night. Close to local Friendly grocer and some lovely restaurants/cafes (2min drive) and only roughly 30mins to Bowral and Moss Vale. Large quiet, tranquil property to unwind from city stress. Definitely would consider returning in the future. Kids where...

"We had a good stay and the house is large and set in greenery. However we found that the house is quite dark. The photos on the site represent the house with all electrical lights on so if you would like a house with natural light that is quite disappointing. I found the check in check out easy and the agency looking after the rental is very responsive. However one of the beds (office sofa bed) was not made for us and we had to make it ourselves. "Great location and amenities. Outdoor bath area had a lot of cobwebs. Poor communication regarding windows not being able to be opened. There should be more specific info about each accommodation in the welcome pack and options to contact the owner directly given this was the weekend and the office was closed. "

"Property was impeccably maintained and in a great location, but what sets the booking apart are Jacqui and Kai are the most accommodating hosts who made sure our stay was perfect. The attention to detail and creature comforts provided, including breakfast goods provided made our stay feel more like a bed and breakfast. The house was spacious and beds very comfortable. "There was no reception and no wifi available despite what the listing says. We had to book another place as I needed to check into work. Owner was very dismissive of the problem Also he sent us the wrong pin so sent us on a 30 minute round trip. Spider webs and hair were in the shower/bedroom and there’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Couldn’t open the window as so many spiders just outside the window "

"We had such a wonderful stay at the Retreat. It is a beautiful cottage with everything you need. Cosy and well appointed with gorgeous bedding and a kitchenette. The garden is full with f quaint touches and plenty of birdlife. Close to Bundanoon Pub where we met friends for lunch. Lovely hosts. Perfect weekend."
