House is as described. Clean and clean smelling when we arrived. Once that wore off, there are some musty odors. We had dark quiet nights to sit out, enjoy the stars, and listen to the river until an "event" on property changed our quiet to drumming, chanting, yelling and other loud, unexpected noises. This lasted 2 nights and one day of our stay, so we had little peace to enjoy our last 2 evenings (they stopped drumming around 8:30 last night). We're aware of how the property is used but we didn't expect it to impact our stay as much as it did. Very disappointing. Photo is the view from the back deck of the home-lovely!

Nice house. Listing not accurate as we brought fishing poles to fish pond, and there was no water….just a mud pit. We always select water front properties and were very disappointed.

Alone and together

This was a place for many generations to be together and yet find the space to be alone. ..a place of peace and joy, adventure and solace. We came to the Roaring Fork Valley to Celebrate my Father’s Life. This was the perfect home and property to do it.

Lovely, serene mountain rental

There is something special about this property. The house is everything as described (more functioning outdoor lighting would have been appreciated). It is comfortable, was exceptionally clean and the view of Sopris is unbelievable. We loved the back deck! If you explore the property and find the river, the teepee, the alter. It feels like sacred ground. We even had a bear walk through the back yard one day! Right on the bike trail and the highway. Highway noise was no problem for us. We hope to be back next year! We did use the oven and did not find hot pads. Not a deal breaker but a suggestion.

Carbondale home

This place was cute but way less upscale feeling in person. Our code didn't work to get in but luckily the company was responsive when I called (we had to drive into town to get service to call). There was also a repair person that left plumbing supplies all over one bathroom and knocked on the door shortly after we got in to collect them. The view of the mountain was beautiful outside the back. I thought there was a river there, too, but it was more of a reservoir/pond. Overall it was spacious and was conveniently located to carbondale.

Great spot for fishing access

The house is a guest house on a large property. It does need some updating and maintenance, as we had a few days of trouble, but the property management team was fast and responsive when called. The pond in back does not have fish, however, there’s a short walk to some great fishing nearby. Locals will park nearby to access

Crystal River Ranch stay

This property was lovely and as advertised. We had a great stay. I would stay here again. The view from the back door to the mountains is pretty breathtaking. My only issue with the property is that the lamp post at the road and the front of the driveway was out. It is almost impossible to see this house or the address numbers at night. We came to the house during the day, but still could not find it at night. They need a way to illuminate that lamp post and the house number so people can find it.

I highly recommend the Ranch

Mountain view

We had an amazing stay. The house is very comfy and decorated nicely. It's all about that mountain view and exploring the river! Caught a few trout out back. Don't let the lack of a TV dissuade you; plenty of games, and wifi works well enough for music and dancing. Great location for exploring Glenwood Springs and Redstone.

Annual family getaway

The management company did a wonderful job. The property was suitable for our gathering but needs a few upgrades including screens on the patio doors (with no a/c, fans weren't enough - we needed the cross breezes) and more comfortable outdoor furniture to enjoy the fantastic mountain view on the back deck (the house is very near the road, so car/truck noise is an issue in the front yard).

Welcoming. large windows and skylights brought the outside in!

This home was welcoming yet cozy with large rooms, modern appliances, spacious bathrooms with a view of a pond with a duck and ducklings circling a beaver.

peaceful mountain getaway

What a wonderful home with the most scenic, tranquil view off the back patio. We loved opening the great big windows in the family room to take it all in. Rooms were great - clean with many modern upgrades. We hated to leave this serene oasis!
