We reserved our accommodation for 17 days and were given a very nice apartment on the 4th floor, with bedroom, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and a small balcony, from which we could see the sea and the swimming pools. We were very happy with this and, except for the lift (elevator) breaking down a few times, we enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, three days before we were due to depart, we were told that we had to change rooms, which meant spending a half day packing our belongings. Next morning we had to take all our luggage to a first floor apartment with a much smaller kitchen and no balcony, in which the fan in the bedroom did not work. This ruined our stay and we are not sure that we will stay at this hotel on our next trip to Cape Town, in spite of it being so convenient and having nice accommodation. I noticed that someone else had the same complaint.
The staff, especially on the desk, were very helpful.
